  1. I don't suppose anyone has a 2nd hand 235/40/18 tyre lying around for cheap? PM me.
  2. So last night on my way home, driving down Pioneer Hway for those of you who know, was pouring with rain, couldn't see a hell of alot. Then bang, I hit something, didn't sound pretty at all, pulled over and I got out, had a look and there was a jandal of all things .. with over a dozen threaded roofing nails in it, then a second later a big Hilux goes past, and he gets taken out too. Obviously someone had spent a bit of time doing this, as I found another jandal a little bit further down the road, all with the nails pointing upwards. Tyre is a complete write off, I figure its pointless buying one new tire as I am going to need all 4 done at some stage soon, so I have put the standard wheels back on for the time being. I need some advice on what size tyre, curently it has 235/40/18, but they are too tall and initially I had to get the guards rolled becuase the rubbed pretty badly, I only use the car around town and on short stints to Wellington every now and again so I don't want to fork out alot per tyre, the Nankangs were good for what I was doing in the car. Can any of the dealers or people in the know give me some advice and/or prices on some 225/35s or 235/35s or whatever you guys would recommend, the wheels are 18x8 inches. Cheers guys.
  3. So many people have this issue, just wondering if someone could give a bit of detail into what is happening to make it jerk/rev hard etc. My E36 does this, I just flick it into sport mode then straight back into E even before I drive off, this seems to prevent it.

    My offer still stands.
  5. Does anyone know if there is going to be full coverage on TV3? Or do we need to get some Sky Sport channels for the weekend?
  6. Exactly. Someone could come along and offer more than what you are wanting or vice-versa, I'm sick of people like the above trying to overtake other peoples threads, get a life, leave it if it ain't yours.
  7. IF you pay that much you're getting ripped off, I paid less than $180 for mine - can't remember how much exactly, I'll try dig out the last service receipt for the 320 ...
  8. I only fill up once every 9-10 days
  9. Just bear in mine $1200+ for D2s, then $350+ for a cert to keep it legal.

Yep sweet, sold. How will you be paying for the other 3.5k? Trading your car? If you are not serious then f**k off, simple. This place is turning to the dogs.

Glad the exhaust worked out well Next time I'm up that way I'll have to have a listen to it ... on a manual it must sound nice! Phat car btw, very nice.
  12. Yep, you know damn well its worth more than that, those cars that have sold recently are in very poor condition to mine in all aspects. Yep, I'm sure your auction said something about swaps. Idiots.

  20. I get this in my E36 every now and again, its weird, but an easy fix. Look in the fuse box under the bonnet, I'm sure you will have blown a fuse relating to te brake lights and I think its dashboard lights (the are on the same fuse). Just change the fuse and all should be sweet. Someone will have better advice I'm sure ...
