Well I finally got around to go into Pitstop today and enquire about what they could do. The guy a I dealt with was a complete f**king wanker - I asked for the standard exhaust to go back on and he walked off and came with with a $170 muffler and a $140 chrome tip saying it would be better ... when I pushed and said I would just like the standard pipe/muffler back on he moaned and grumbled about the standard mounts being hard to re-attach it to. Â Every second word was out of his mouth was f**k - I wasn't very impressed. His parting comment was "Come on man .. you own a BMW, spend the cash here!" Going to go to the muffler centre at some stage (went to pitstop because they accept Qcard LOL).

Going to put it on the back window, its been raining on and off so might put it off today, will see what happens.
-
Sweet as - and I wouldn't have a clue, hit up some of the local members down there, I'm sure there are some wise fella's in those parts

Been to busy to do anything but drive my car to work and back as of late, I'm going to attempt to not cock it up tomorrow - if weather permits. The back of the decal is the adhesive side ah? Â Basically just pull it off and put it on carefully ..?

No difference (but I drive a 320), in all honesty its not worth it. You have a nice 328, get a nice M3 exhaust, it'll be worth it. Trust me this thing is f**king loud, I have to have to stereo up past 18-20 to drown it out!
-
I have one, unless you like it loud inside the cabin don't buy one - they are good quality though. I also only just passed a WOF. Note: Have my car booked into pit stop next week, either silencer of some kind or standard is going back on!
-
I bought this up a while ago, after I was sent a pretty little letter from the LTSA. Just keep some "legal" plates in your boot - if you ever need them.
-
You sir, are the funniest man on the forum.
-
Dude that car is f**king sick, good buy.
-
LOL, I knew it would be alot louder than a standard exhaust when I had it put it, but its just getting on my nerves now. I barely passed a WOF last time round because they said it was almost too loud, I didn't buy it for the "extra power" - because there isn't any, I just liked the twin tip look. I'll hit up a few places if I have time later in the week!
-
Will loss of flow reduce the already terrible power? Any ballpark ideas on prices I would be looking at for adding a silencer in?
-
So I bought this twin tip exhasut off Trademe ages ago, had it put on and never really been happy with how loud it is in the cabin while cruising, just wondering what the options are to quietin it down, could pit stop or something weld in a silencer or something? lol I don't know ... I like the twin tip look but If I have to lose that and put a stock one back on I guess I'll have to do that.

Like I said above its a MicroSD card ... so you'll need an SD card adaptor if you want to use it in a laptop, but the card should have come with one anyway ...
-
Hey Gus, You won't need to find another 3250 to use your card in, just grab a cheap card reader or find someone who has another mobile that takes MicroSD(Transflash) cards ... have a laptop or someone who does with a card reader?
-
End the hate guys Different strokes for different folks, its a nice conversion!
-
That car, is THE sexiest BMW in the history of the world. And yes, I'm f**king serious.
-
Sweet, I need something simple, I'll check it out.

Its going on an E36 so its not going to be a perfect fit like for the E30s on the forum ..

Man the CH's are where its at ... if you're looking to keep your pimp stz -
I'm sure my Jamex springs started sagging as soon as they were put it, they were just too damn soft, you could put a couple of doz on the back seat on the rears would start rubbing at normal speeds ... H&Rs soon dealt to that
-
Yeah, don't go Jamex ...
-
Yeah I was thinking that ... cheers for the adivce fella's Although I only have the wheels and springs, not shocks, all good though
