Wouldn't have a clue what the offset is, like I said I'm a bit of a n00b and didnt ask alot of questions .. I'll see how it pans out tomorrow, if it doesnt work well with the guards getting rolled at the front ill put the standard front springs back in. Jammaster, so if I get the wheels aligned (which is already on the cards - was told to after new rims were put on) will the rears angle in anyway? Or can I ask them to be angled in? Or do I need a camber kit to do that? Cheers!

Car is booked in at the panel beaters tomorrow, they're not going to use a roller though, just tap them back and sh*t ... the dude said it probably wont make much difference, so if it doesnt looks like im going back to standard springs for a bit more height. This really pisses me off, I didn;t think jamex LOWs would be that low with 18s
-
Yeah true, all good though, I was the first in town to get em on too! I love those wheels, they look fully sick on bimmers man

Thanks for the advice dude, I just spotted some chunks of rubber missing and started stresssing, ill hit up some panel beaters tomorrow, will post again, cheers!

Howdy Right i got some nice new wheels/tyres fitted last week, they are 18x8 and the tyres are nankang "235/40R18", I have just the last couple of days heard some noises when cornering the rears appear to be rubbing and the fronts are also rubbing so much that the tyre on one side at le' front has already had some godforsaken tread chomped off, now I didn't know this would happen - im a bit of a n00b so im not sure what to do now, ive heard of things like camber kits, what do these do? the car is on low jamex springs which are new - and brand spanking KYB shocks all round, I have a warrant in 3 months and it needs to be sorted by then, can you guys offer me advice on what to do? Thanks heaps Josh

Yo, just paid and ordered 3x stickers. can you guys keep an eye out, chuurs!
-
I'll look for the correct numbers tomorrow, the wheels are 18x8 .. might need to get my guards rolled out a little at the back, any idea how much that would set me back?
-
18s dude, tyres are nankang 235/14 (is that all you need to know?) lol I know sweet f**k all about tyres and thier numbering system, damn the car handles so well now with the new springs and KYBs all round, mint!
-
Far out, the wheels are better looking than I expected, glad I didnt get super low springs as I have a feeling I have already heard the rears rubbing a little bit lol.
-
Wheels are going on tomorrow, as well as the LOW jamex springs i already had .. and my exhaust, and new KYB shocks all round, I priced up some bilstein shocks but they came out to be $1200 odd installed, so went for the next best thing. I'll try post pics up tomorrow night if I remember.

How much of a performace loss do you reckon there would be wit hthe 18s on it? Not like the e36 320i is that powerful to start with ... plus I only use it for driving from palmy to welly and genereal crusing etc etc. Its not going to be like driving a ford fiesta or some sh*t is it? or will it be real bad?
-
lol sorry, its a grey 320i, im not trying to rice it out by any means, just want it to look a bit nicer with slight lowering and some new rims - as im sure you guys know the standard ones arent that sexy
-
Mayhem performance in town here has offered me a good finance deal on some rims, tyres, fitting, springs and shocks etc, so I thought what the hell .. the stilletos I wanted wont fit cause of the stud pattern, these advantis are farily new, nice deep dish and they look similar to some BBS wheels ive seen on the bimmers before, what do you guys reckon? Cheeerrs. [edit] the above rims are 18x8 - not sure if I should go for some nice 17s or 18s, what do you guys reckon?

Thanks for the thread, saved me making one soon lol

Went to Jeff Gray this morning to doule check on the tint of my windows - the parts chick said they have had 5 Bimmers in the last week been broken into and side windows smashed (smash and grab sort of sh*t). They want over $500 for the window + installation, I said I would "think about it" .. thanks very very much to Brent on the forums who has been able to help me out, much appreciated kind sir. -
So this morning I park my car where I normally do on Saturday .. where everyone else does, never been a break in, my boss leaves early (10am) - then comes back into the store - "one of your car windows is smashed", I was fully f**king speechless, ran out to my car and some motherf**ker (with what looks like a hammer hole) has put it straight through the left front passenger window, my alarm must have gone off and deterred them from going further because my new springs, exhaust and radar detector which were in full view are all still there - nothing was taken. Lesson; I am a f**king moron, don't leave sh*t in view that is of any value. I have rang every 24hour glass repair place in town and everyone is either out of stock of BMW glass or doesn't want to come out and fix it, any ideas on where to go in Palmy? Wreckers on Monday I have been told. Yes, for the record (again, I am a moron).

Miller, do you have e plates at the moment? .. just wondering how you have the front attached ... if you have em
-
sucks, guess ill shoot into jeff gray tomorrow and get a price, thanks mate.

-

-
So i got my europlates this morning, bastard drill is broken so im going to have to sit one on the front dash until monday , I just used some hardout double sided tape to fit one plate to the back, it looks sweet as, but it'll be a mission on the front, euro plates are long as hell and the standard plate holder is small as sh*t, any ideas fellas?
-
How much you looking at for the rims mate?
-
How hard are those plates to install? they look like a bitch, mine are on the way .. hopefully ill be able to just bolt the bastards on???
