  1. Welcome aboard! Nice mk2 dude. Good luck with finding an e30, as been said, there are some minters around for little fold. Any Q's ask away.
  2. I would agree- if I had loads of money. For the general population, a turbo e30 is a lot more easily accessable with 'limited' money and will be a lot of fun I guess- I unfortunately don't own either. Anyway, from what I hear (TG etc) the z8 is fast but like a boat (let alone looking like one), so therefore I'd take a well setup e30, with half the weight of z8 and still reasonably quick all for 1/10 the money. /out
  3. Welcome D, good to see another East Aucklander! Very nice car. Your right, everyone has to own a V8 in their life, I'm still waiting unfortunately. BTW is this "arros's" old car?
  4. Oh wow that is awesome. Sweet wheels.

  8. Oh yup, same thing, Felgensilber= wheel silver
  9. I think (not 100%) that its paint code 060. Is it the same thing as Felgensilber?
  10. Nice! The last shot is the money.
  11. As you say, lowering the car will always help. Could paint the centres black or Nogaro silver and have the lips polished. Just a thought.
  12. Probably because it is. How can you compare cars which are 20 years apart? And a $207,000 price difference right now?
  13. Could be okay, not what I would choose. Could get that lip polished though, might look good. I think it would be hard to beat (within reason) 15" Weaves on an e30. And yeah, H&R/Bilstein is a good and commonly used combo AFAIK.
  14. Yeah Brad, I know what your saying and agree. The forum is probably slightly bias towards e30 as they might be the most commonly owned?

    4.32 Cool game, cheers
  16. Awful. Someone needs to buy it and restore it. The airbags and wheels would be worth a fair bit, then replace with weaves and good suspension and maybe a manual conversion and your done.
  17. Welcome dude. Car looks like an absolute minta!
  18. Beautiful I don't think 97kms is far for a car like that. Not like it would be used as a daily surely- at least I wouldn't daily it.
  19. Haha steady on Is this an anti-e30 forum or a BMW forum?!?
