If you're keen for a lip, I can import them painted from factory for an extra $20 USD. Only problem is I can't guarantee the finish. But I trust my guy over there, he's done some sweet stuff for me. I managed to pick up some "Genuine" M3 mirrors for an absolute steal. Just been to collect them. Got home interested in their authenticity, put the part numbers into realoem and nothing. Its really weird. I have no doubt they're genuine, made of plastic, manufactured in '97, have factory stickers on them with part numbers and Colour codes and names, have bmw symbol in the actual mould, etc, etc. I read another forum over in America where another guy found the same thing but no answers to his question. Any idea's? Cheers

No, think you have to have a cert for different sized wheels front and back (just guessing!). You should be fine having all your wheels directional and the spare asymetrical. Matching pairs is only for the actual tyres you drive on all the time, spare is only used rarely so is an exception. You should be fine how you've got it atm.

Yea, the only reason you would fail is if you had a directional on the right (for example) and a asymetric on the left. Must be matching pairs front and back. Don't think they would look that closely at the spare.

Nigel, have a look at what ireland engineering have Here. They come recommended, don't know if they have anything that suits though. The factory bushes are probably alright, I would think so. Being M3 spec already they should be uprated I would think.
