What do you consider 'high' kms and why?
greenday-rulz21 replied to martyyn's topic in TradeMe discussions
Before getting the 323 i thought something around 150k was high. My 323's done 103miles = 170k and handles better than 4 or 5 e36s iv tested that were around the 100-120k mark. My fathers 540 has done 170k and is exactly the same. Although that had a complete cooling system replacement at 120k, common problem, but ever since, never had a problem. So back to your question, I still think 150+k is high but these cars were made to do 300+k so its not soo worrying. If it had done 200k and looked tired and tatty then you probably wouldn't waste your time with it. -

It doesn't seem to, although it does a bit if driving hard but it does fold up.Just before installing read somewhere that the E46 armrest was awkward with gear changing, but the e36 isn't.

UPDATE: Ok, got a reply back and is not as good as i would have hoped but still decent. So the deal is Free shipping on 10 kits OR if we do 20 kits, they will do an additional $10USD off each product. If you were buying each kit separately total would be $179 10+ ordered $158 or 20+ ordered $144 Saving if we get 10+ is $21 or if we get 20+ $35 Simply put: 01-09 = $179 - Full retail 10-19 = $158 - Discount, free shipping 20+ = $144 - Discount, free shipping + 10USD off Product is the Umnitza Predator ChromiumLink Probably not worth the trouble unfortunately.

One of the really annoying things when I bought the car was that it didn't have the center armrest. Now, this is one thing that really improves the interior IMO. And one thing that was at the top of my list of things to do. So... The search began for a seemingly impossible job of finding a mint condition unit. Pm'd a few members on here, but no luck. Kept an eye on trade me and again no luck. So I finally bit the bullet and when down to Parts Connection - European Autospares in Manukau to see what they had. And what do you know... They had a mint complete unit. At a very reasonable price. The next weekend it was installed and it completely transformed how the interior felt. Before: After: It was not hard to install and very straight forward. I highly recommend this mod, its well worth it and truly makes a huge difference!
