  1. saw it again today as i pulled into work at the newmarket end of great south road does she live on market rd? that was the way she came from, the m3 would be nicer because its an m3 but in alround condtion this 318is is outstanding

  2. this brings up a point, in 2months i earnt 5500 and was taxed 1700 and being 17 and with a student loan i thort that i was ment to be taxed less and be given most of it back but only got $173 back, whats up with that :banghead:

  3. Number plate RA5800 ? I wish she'd never bought that car. It's by far and away the nicest E30 in auckland, and its clear she has no idea how to look ater it. It's a damn shame that the only way she got her hands on it was having 12.5K at exactly the wrong time.

yea that sounds like it, i cant get over how nice the thing was, it looked as though it just came out of the show room. iv been driving the same way for a few days now just on the chance i mite see it again

  4. i need new top shock mounts, the shocks has about 3-4cm up and down play so iv done a quick fix and put some spacers in there that are doning the job but im a bit of a perfectionist so it just wont do. iv heard of people using e46 mounts cause they are stronger is this true and do they fit or will i hav to hunt down the e30 ones?

  5. ok i got a few pics but the are the real big ones, how do i make them smaller so i can post the up and ill get a few more better ones tomorrow, im also taking the camera to work so ill post up some porcshes and ferraris :mosh:

  6. I don't actually - will be rather front heavy

it depends wat posion he has put it in, there was the early alpina which had it up up front , the later alpina had it back a bit more, and the hartage had it back even more but needed a but of the firewall cut hartage clamed that it had the same wight disterbusion as the 325i so if hes done it right it wouldnt be all to bad

  7. my old boss had a 93(i think) 540, after driving it i would say the 4L v8 in the m5 would be so nice all the tourque of the v8 and the handling off the m5(the 540 has REAL soft springs), driving thru kumu i got stuck behind about 4 cars plus a truck up front when we got to a passing lane i pulled out and put the foot down NOTHING, then 3sec later it droped down a few gears(auto :( ) and i hav never been from 80kph to 180 so fast, but the handling realy does let it down
