drivetrain loss is about 15-20%, im planing on going to a dyno in the next week or so b4 i start toying around with it, most dynos should be very simlar with there results, dynos work by timing to get there result it is time, speed, rpm etc etc that are calculatored to get the power output but they are neva always accurat

92kw at the rear wheels is about 115-120hp-ish at the rear wheels, a standard 325i should hav about 140hp at rear wheels, something weird is going on that cant b right

my bad the numbers come first then the letters, i just went out and looked at mine 050762nw and hav a 3.63 lsd with the sports box it the first 1st,2nd and 3rd gear that are longer, 4th and 5th are the same as the standard box and it will hav a 3.91 lsd

well iv been searching all day and hav finaly found the answer to the sports box :mosh: ,as i said from the list of stuff i put earlyer the sports has a 5-speed sports gearbox with conventional gate pattern, the way to tell is on the serial number found on the bell houseing the standard box has NW, TNW or ANB then the rest of the number but the sports box will hav NN, TNN or HJ.

Juzzie Wuzzie Posted on Jun 28 2004, 09:09 PM Sport had 5-spd dog box, LSD, 200bhp, Mtech II kit, recaros, .... ... much, much different from a Motorsport - unless you are trying to sell a Motorsport. i dont realy understand , i said it the sport had the sports box the lsd mtech 2 kit and recaros, from my list the motorsport has all the stuff but the sports box and they run the standard 325i motor which is why i said they only hav 90% of the stuff that i listed, correct me if im wrong or ill b wrong till im told right thanx

my opinion is deep dish mags look cheep and takky on e30s but on the right car can look real nice

i hav no trouble to keep up and even beating a few ss holdens but they r about 70hp down on the hsv, mayb u should just look at a new set of rings and bearings if its getting a bit tired then look at getting the head rebuilt ported and a after maket cam, chip, a bigger throttle body, a bigger afm, exhaust and u should hav a very nice street setup on about $3500-4500 depending in wat parts u use, my 2cents

all motorsports are kitted up in nz(which makes them all nz new) althought if u talk to someone from the usa they hav a convertible(facelift) with the same specs and its called a motorsport, this is what i hav been leed to beleave although i may hav missed a few points. But mine was imported into nz in 94 which makes me think its a uk sport

there was one in the t&e about a week ago 86 18" mags although i dont think its real one, a mate of mine knows the guy and recons it comes with a "race motor" (that made me laugh) and he wants $6500, m325i where did u go to get the seats reupholstered and how much did it cost, mines done 144000miles with all service histrory from new and iv owned it for about 2-3 months, and love it to bits

that is a oil cooler in the grill urs should hav one to, there r alot of them forsale at the moment, i got mine for $4000 and its mint apart from a bit of rust(3 spots about the size of a 20c coin) and a worn drivers seat
