when i brought it i thort it was a bit weird cause the m badge was on the left side of the boot not with the 325i but thats no biggie but the dash is all in miles. i have now figuered the car was brought in to nz in 94 from bournemouth in uk somewhere, in the service book and a insurance book it is refured to as a 325i sport its an 87 and has all the m-tec 1 kit, so how can i tell the diffrence between a high comp sport and a uk sport, thanx for ur help
-
well i was looking at all the papers for my car befor and wat i thort was a m325i is uk325i sport that was imported into the country somewhere between 92-94 so does the sport hav any diffrent specs and does it hav a same value as a m325i

SeelanNaidoo Posted on May 7 2004, 09:42 AM sorry for the wrong choice of word. it's not an aftermaket billet crank.Just the original(balanced) from a 2.7is. I think I have a stage one camshaft also(not sure what degree it is)
-
does the cam fit a 325? if so would it be any better than the stock and wat sort of $$ are u looking for
-
i just found this http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showt...ad.php?t=207198 they are having the same chat
-
yes it will to a extent it all depends on the fuel you use and how much fuel the motor is being given(rich or lean)
-
yes i know but with the timing ADVANCED it isnt making it burn any faster it only makes it burn earlyer which isnt giving it the sort of bang to get more power out of a steet motor, it fine to be running it on perpose built race motor but that is built it run on it
-
u will b lucky to get a gain out of avgas over 98 on a higher reving engine as the flame front(burn)rate it to slow, which is why formula fords etc use pump gas. i recomend 98 with an aditive that i get from pioneer auto parts its a sh*t that increases the oxagen giving u a bigger bang(its not octane booster)i post up the name of the stuff and price when i find a bottle
