318i Turbo

it was a lowriders exhaust that set fire to the dry grass then setting the car on fire, one of my mates had his s14 burnt to death

i remember seeing that outside rebel sports a bit back, just a standard auto 325i with kit and wheels they wanted 8k? could hav been 6k i cant remember

when i fixed it, it seems that the screws holding the lock part to the glovebox had come loss and had got itself stuck but thanks to a bit of a thrash the screws came out altogether and i was able to put it back together without wreaking anything

the lock itself is unlocked it just dont wanna unlatch itself, i think ill just rip on in and get another

do you have a 6cyl instrement cluster? (tach, speedo etc)

my glovebox lock is jammed up and i cant get in, how the hell do i get in without braking anything

im after a standard 6cyl tacho for ma motorsport or the full dash piece in mph, miles etc

yea bending the "rod thing" is what im going to try and do, i installed it on a week night and wasnt going to dick around with it just incase so put the standard one back in just need to get around to putting it back in when i get some time

i got my b&m short shifter a few weeks back, problem; it was to long beneth the ball and was pushing the rod thing down onto a big balancer i have on my drive shaft

haha did you get that out of the total bmw mag, 2.7L, have you tried some wreckers? i think that would be your best bet but i may be wrong

the amount of restriction that a turbo or supercharger makes it besides the point as it ia all made up for althought you cant just go placing a truck turbo or a big ass supercharger on your nanas 1300 masda its just not gonna work, personly i would rather supercharge but with all the $$ involed getting the right size pullys for the boost you wish for etc the turbo is a much more realistic way to goas parts etc are everywhere for a bmw anyhow

the 4.10 diff works very well with the 318, :thumb: i wouldnt go any longer or shorter stick with it

i found on my 318 the hardst part was removing the starter motor just tricky and time consuming (was on a m10 motor), the pedal box is not to bad just remove as much stuff as pos from under the dash to make it easyer it makes it a faster job to as you dont get all shity and waste time trying to shortcut. good luck with the swap man

andrew are you going to be doing these lights for the pre-face lift id be soooo keen

pics wont load up to big and dont know how to make them smaller, its got all the norm a/c p/s e/w no sun roof, service iv done all myself with things like oil etc and have replaced accel. cable, clutch slave cyl replaced afm and ecu. has a twin DTM exhaust. it has a small bit off serface rust on one rear gaurd and front left had been hit by prevous owners mum and the right front has bottemed out and pushed on the gaurd - comes with free turbo* *not installed
