as above... im just wanting the 2 rears so I have a full set of 9's.

while I prefer a manual...I must admit I love my auto e39. its my daily driver and work car and to be honest when I get off a boat sometimes at 3am in the morning with a 4hr drive to get home after been away for weeks on end the auto is the best thing in the world...I can still put it in manual if I want to hold gears etc im saying this im looking for another e36 2.8 to turn into a track car and there is no way anything but a manual will do. everything has its place depending on what its used for or what people want from it so.....who gives a flying f*ck if this person thinks manual is better than auto/auto better than manual.

as the title says im after 2x wheels for my e39 to put on the front 18x9 to suit e39. thanks
-
haha nah the patrol owes me to much money to have it sitting there and hard to find gq's with no rust these days. also when I get off boats driving for a few hours in a big lifted off road truck gets abit over rated...and on the toy front have just sold acouple of cars so on the look out now for a nice 2.8 manual e36 to turn into a track car

after a set for my e39...condition of lips is not such big deal as im wanting to get upsize lips to 18's. mainly after good condition centers with waffle plates etc PM me
-
only problem with it been my work car is its sits for long periods at ports, on wharfs etc as I work in oil/gas industry and head offshore on support vessels
-
might call up one day haven't seen ya in awhile either so good to reason to come have a look now
-
trav good to see it out on the road instead of sitting in you driveway. joel

only thing I have done to the car is put a some toyo 245's on the front and 275's on the rear as it had mid range tyres and I do a lot of out of town traveling for work so like grip in any weather haha

couple pics of something I picked up not long ago... brought it off the 1st nz owner who had afew extras added when he 1st brought it, has some hiop racetech parts...stainless headers/exhaust, front strut brace, and has there computer remap program as we found this when I got my bmw guru to run a diagnostic check. big bonus in my books is it also has no tacky wood grain as it has the silver the same as motorsports but also has the ac parts inside.

nice car shame its a 8 and not a 6
-
quite rare in nz there are only a hand around. these came out in sedan, wagon and utes

time for a new bmw to play around with and am looking at e34's because I like cars which are abit bigger and not so many people tend to play around with them so am wanting to know if they have any major problems? not worried about engines etc but more electrical, interior etc
-
what type of money are we talking for you to do it and time frame...???
-
ive been checking the net and it seems some cars play up and others dont, in saying that some people might not just notice or be fussy...problem is ill notice and im fussy. also i dont seem to be having much finding manual ecu's on the net as a back up if it doesnt work how i would like it to as reading peoples posts they seem to have problems that come and go...???
-
thanks can you tell what the differences are? do the revs hold on shifting and is the idle higher etc ???
-
2.5 e36 sedan

at the end of the day you get for what you pay for both tyres you have said about will offer the same type of life from the tyre and grip levels etc depending if you want to spend a fair amount more on your tyres then look at the likes of the coopers and other higher end tyres but if you are only using them for road/highway use you are not going to get a great deal more out of them for the money spent. my 2cents from been a supplier/fitter, not a sales man.

looking at getting another bmw and changing it from auto to manual but wanting to know if you also need the ecu also as ive seen some people say no others say you do. ive only ever had manual bmw's so want to do the manual conversion since im not a big auto fan. amyone able to let me know...???

my car is just a cheap daily drive hack got to many other cars sitting on my driverway. it just gets used to get to work, tow a trailer and hack a burnout now and then haha
-
have done the spin the wheel test but both wheels dont spin at the same rate...im thinking it has never really been servied with proper lsd oil so now has pretty much stuffed it because from looking at tag it is a lsd... what type of money would i be looking at spending to get a good lsd off someone on here, i havent had much to do with bmw's so dont know how much i should be paying...???
-
id rather shim a proper lsd up so i can still leave it in now and then and have it drive half decent...gone are the days of where i would of just welded up the gears. this is my daily driver and have to take my young son in the car so dont want a locker
