IN the E36 yes you can change the gear knob .. but it's not worth it .. i enquired about it when i had the E36 and they said i needed the converter thingy .. and blah blah .. all in all it would come up to nearly $400 just to change the gear knob to the wood grain one ..

Did you get my PM ? Well i have a set with tires of adrenaline's ... $950 inc delivered anywhere in NZ .. they are in ok condition with some minor curbing ... i'll probably take $1000 inc delivery to get them fixed ... need to double check on that ...

Too bad the us never got the compacts ... That probably means that the can't really research very much on the E46 compacts .. but the upside is that a lot of the sedan and compacts parts are interchangable .. Could you direct me to everything for the compact + 316 double vanos engine parts .. Much appreciated.

Ok .. i just re-read your post and now i under stand it .. I never tried to stick the original caps onto the adrenalines ... so i didn't know whether they fitted or not .... I thought you were meaning the current bmw caps(E46) fitting on my previous E36 adrenaline wheels ...

Are you talking about mine ?Well my factory wheels have them on it already .. and they are bigger and better condition than the adrenalines ..

Yes i know exactly how hard it is to get after market parts for my car .... but i'm just interested in finding out what people can find for me at the moment .... because i just brought myself a phone and accessories and sh*t .. stung me nearly $1500 .... Oh i sure do enjoy my E46, even tho it's still just a little 1.8 but i enjoy it a lot none the less .... There is basically nothing for E46 here in lil' ol' dunedin ... just what Cooke Howlison BMW can offer .. and that is BUGGER ALL for me !!

Yep you just stick those sticker thingy over the ROH badge ... thats what i did with my Adrenaline's(for sale hah) ... and that costed me $20 from the tyre fitting place, apparently quite a few wheel places have hook ups with sign writers or something so can get it a bit cheaper than random joe blog...
