For people down here i can get touch up paints for around 10 bucks or something .. i forget ...

It was about 3 and a bit years ago .. so if memory serves me right we had the 5 series for less than one year ... at least 5 months tho .. i think ... My memory is bad these days .. hahah

We had owned the 5 series for a while before the incident ..

That was my brother driving.... I was ment to be in that car if my brother didn't leave during school hours... It was a 2000 540i, new zealand new thats a personalised plate btw .. we had it about 3.5 to 4 years ago ... before the 7series ... yes keys were still in the ignition, and if the passenger didn't fly out the windscreen he would have been impaled by a power pole ... notice on the passenger side it's caved in .. thats what it hit the power pole ...The ball joint and spring was pick up from the scene and put in the car ... We don't need to get to what he was doing ...

Yeah it's a write off .... the car had flipped around 10 times before landing into a big ditch and trees .... It was a damn fine car to drive !!!!!

No the car isn't in auckland .. it was last in Christchurch ... Nah the mags were pretty f**ked ... there was no straight panel on that car ... i think i've still got the petrol cap from it .. it's all crocked ... The driver had to be cut out of the car, and the passenger some how narrowly missed his death by flying throught the windscreen (btw he was wearing seatbelts) .. he had a big cut through the middle of his palm where he was still holding onto the seatbelt.. This is why my old man insisted on purchasing the Compact.

You after one of them ? I can get a Gigabyte one for about $1100. I don't think leadtek will be too far off that price either .. can't be sure yet .. not something thats normally in stock .. haah

hey i've just rung my friend at the mag place, they said that yeah you would need spacer plates and then you'd need certification afterwards so it's not practical and worth it to purchase my mags... Sorry ....

Yeah man.. that is just BAD !!!! i would've sued the shipping company !!!

I thought his might been lower than mine but i was just curious how low his car is. The E30 sedan is about 7 or so cm longer than that of my compact.

I think if it fits the NZ requirements then it should be legal .. ie reflection and size.

My parent's worked their asses of to get to the point they are right now, they do not have other bmw products except two BMW cars. Dad's car only goes out like 1 a or week or once every second week. They did not purchase the car to intend to show off, otherwise they'd go cruisin into town everyday, and buy all the rest of the bmw apparel. If you saw what they wore all the time you would think they are poor as, because they don't like to show off! They bought it because they have always admired bmw cars for their safety, comfort and other features, and they intends to keep this car for their retirement. They felt the sense of self satisfaction when they purchased that car, because they earnt the money themselves, they used to work 15 hour days, and some times they still work till midnights now. These are the people that i look up too.. They look heavily on family first now, they were so busy working that it felt like the forgot about us two kids, sometimes it was just my brother looking after me. I cannot forget those days... You can call that the wank factor if you feel the need.

I'm not talking about all the other bmw stuff i'm just talking about the car itself ..

damn diffs are cheap for those cars ... the last time i got a diff for my E36 it costed nearly 2K!
