  1. Sucks to be Hamilton. guts
  2. Well I couldn't get near a computer most of the day. But with 40 mins till the start of Monza I thought I'd let some late night people know. Ferrari has KERS, Force India on the front row, and 75% of each and every lap is full throttle with massive outbraking passing opportunities. Can't wait till the start
  3. Thanks for the link OP, I now have a set on the way to match the clear indicators.
  4. It was using much too much bimmersport bandwidth, I assume. Atta might see this and put it on youtube for you ha. Or I could. But would rather play with the new puppies here.
  5. I'll confirm that for sure. Should make a nice cheap suspension upgrade for someone
  6. Thanks Sir. Jennian looks like a crazy corner at that speed with all those bumps.
  7. Dirt is certainly the best way to learn from a young age, tearing up back roads and farm tracks in all kinds of vehicles, but these days there are too many city kids with pyscho cars with no idea what car control is. I respect anyone who has rally/a few years of back road gravel experience. A tarmac track and Auckland roundabouts can only teach you so much. And regarding drivetrain layouts, would you not agree that mastering a FF takes less experience than mastering a MR or RR? It may be due to the fact that pretty much every car on the road has a engine at the front and people know how to drive them, then get overwhelmed when in a Porsche slide off a corner backwards. But still, a MR car is faster, you need to pre-cache every move you make and be ultimately smooth, it's a different level. Oh and James, look up the meaning of 'persona'. And that Summit vid is nothing/slow/pathetic, I'll dedicate the track day vid I'll be making next week to you.
  8. Just out of pure interest, what speeds (or Revs-in-certain-gear if you do it that way) are you doing in the E30 series cars into that first right hand sweeper (castrol?) and same for over the hill. Puke looks like a ballsey track in those bits!!
  9. Those FWD Levins are far from useless, you dolt, they have amazing suspension geometry and a light, balanced chassis with a fun engine that puts out substantial power for it's size and weight. Front wheel drives are where you learn everything you need to know about driving, I spent 5 years in 4 different FWD's and mastered the things. Do you have your trail braking and weight transfer techniques sussed?? Don't be such a RWD fanboi, RWD is no where near the pinnicle of driving (but you don't do much driving do you skidder?). Go take a MR2 for a proper thrash at your current skill levels to see what I mean. Man I am a cock on the internet, LOVE IT.
  10. I love the continuous flowing lines of it, especially where the rear window meets the bootlid.
  11. Honda make amazing cars for the FF layout they have. And NSXs destroy M3s in every way possible. Thanks Aryton. It's just too bad a lot of the culture that surrounds them in western countries is quite, how could I say... ...homax.
  12. But strut braces are bling bling!! I'm only getting one cause Gustave raves about them. Only the front though. In the future I think I'll design a under-chassis brace set-up to compliment a rollcage, would make one tight still-archaic-Trailing arm-rear-suspended E30. On common japanese sports cars however, a strut brace front and rear makes a massive difference, I guess that's why people want them, cause it certainly makes Silvias and RX7's much better cars. And and BMW puts strut bars on the CSL (and maybe E46 and E92 M3's?) so they do serve a purpose. (oh and I have big sway bars waiting to go on, I agree that AntiSway bars are a better bang for buck)

    Halfshaft removal..

The axles slide in and out of the hub with ease once the nut is off. Give the splines a grease when it goes back in too.
  14. Considering where the pick-up points for the rear suspension are, a rear bar wouldn't do a thing really, when a E30 gets sidesways load in a corner, the force goes though the subframe mounts. Would be much better to square brace up the 2 21mm subframe mounting points and the 2 chassis rails just behind the control arm bushing mount. That'd solve so much rear slop with the E30 chassis.
  15. Would love a front strut bar, expressing keen interest here. Back ones are pointless on a Sedan/Coupe E30, the wall between the passenger compartment and the boot does the job, fact.
  16. Haha thanks, was in no particular order though
  17. Love the little tiny window
  18. The E30 and E36 red (hella, henna and brilla, either or, hella is probably the nicest) is something I would pay top dollar for at a paint shop, if they could even do it like BMW do! I doubt many shops could, because it is the deepest, nicest Red on any car out there. Bar Ferraris. That's why it is a shame, should have started with a beige E30..
  19. A friend had this problem, albeit it was a Mazda, and he found a USB to multi-pin adaptor. Worked fine after that..
  20. I'm so sorry aye, don't know what came over me. I really do love black and pearl, and i was totally just baiting the OP and hoping for a huge flame war. (massive use of sarcasm font)
  21. Better not be painting it black or anything with pearl in it. Such a nice red, shame.
  22. Yeah the jetpack is dead real, watched many videos of that style jetpack, can manage sub-1 minute flights with ease. Computer trickery fills in the rest. Managed to get up 360 vertical metres over-unrealisticly fast though haha.
  23. He was being a arsecheek and pointing out a typo you made. Just an extra zero there is all. I want to drive your car in complete gusto and charisma. Amazing effort with it.
  24. Got a few awesome shoots planned in the coming weeks: star trails, downhill drifting for the calender, girls, fireworks.. Won't make it to this forum however Might do a big flickr update, and continuing with my confident, cocky, internet only, persona, they are pretty good snaps
