    Also did a manual swap (thanks to Ben) and also the other guys that really gave me helping a hand. Really appreciate it. We put the suspension in while doing the swap. :D

    Any way a few parts,

    Exedy clutch, Lightweight Chromolly Flywheel, and getrag 260

    My PFL e30 coupe i bought around November-ish. came along way since i bought it, but still alot of things still need improving.

    Its sitting on Koni yellow adjustable damper shocks all round (thanks to a BS member :D )

    Custom made springs in the front (snells) jamex super-low in the rear

    16" wheels offset is 25

    Enough talk.

    Hi have got some stuff from my manual conversion if anyone is interested

    - Automatic transmission from my e30 320i PFL in good condition, comes with everything removed

    -Torque converter

    -Driveshaft

    -oil lines

    -shifters and linkages

    Would be good for some one who has a stuffed transmission or something along those lines. $180ono for everything

    - Pair 45mm front struts complete minus disk and top hat. wheel bearings in good condition. Comes with standard springs. Also the rear shocks and standard springs. They all passed a WOF just last month. Selling due to upgrade.

    Would be good for someone who failed a WOF for springs not captive etc $200ono

    offers welcome need to clear up space.

    did you loosen the ring nut thing you can see? its a 32mm from memory. back that off and then slide it together and then do it back up. its a tapered fit which squeezes the rear half onto the front half. ALL rear halfs of E30 driveshafts are the same, manual auto pfl fl 6cyl or 4cyl all the same.

    if you cant get it together, try pulling the driveshaft apart and measuring how deep the hole on the back half is, and then measuring how long the spline on the front half is. that will tell you if its because your not pushing hard enough or it genuinely wont go in anymore. sounds dirty.

    afaik there is a lot more difference than 10-15mm between the 3 most common E30 manual driveshafts (excl ZF manual and M10, i havent experience with those)

    You my friend deserve a drink.... dirty... ftw the little rubber thing inside was falling to pieces while i tried putting it on after cleaning it.. replaced it. Just like a bought one now.

    I bought a manual conversion a while ago including everything.

    have everything in except the drive shaft. it seems to be 10 to 15mm to big.

    i have tried adjusting it and compressing it more but it still to long. (cleaned up the splines as best i could, crc degreaser, and then crc. dried it. put a little grease on it.)

    is there something i'm missing? if the spline on the drive shaft has surface rust on it is it OK to clean with a wire brush? I've hit it with quite a big hammer to get it to where it is now.

    PS is there an easier way to get the top bolt of the starter motor in? its a real pain in the neck. literally.

    Does anyone want a PFL 325i block? Been sitting in my garage, still seems to turn freely. I think there's an intake manifold there as well. You'll need to pick it up.

    hi im in need of a clutch alignment tool before i start working on my conversion during uni holidays. if anyone has one they arent using im more than happy to purchase it. or even if i may borrow one for a fee(beers, $$ food ??)

    hey everyone this engines had around $3000 worth of head reconditioning done to it the sump took a hit an cracked so i purchased it for my e36 thinkn it would fit which it doesnt it can come with a manual clutch an flywheel attached im looking for a m50 swap or some cash offers message me or text me 0221698635 thanks

    i guess it would be the same principle but just putting a bigger stopper in?

    any idea how much they charge,

    just called up suspension tech they quoted 250+gst for a rebuild and shortening. brand new sport adjustable shocks are 259 each including.

    any one on here know how long the stock rear shocks are on a PFL e30 Coupe when fully extended?
