ok cool, could be a cheap way for me to finally get into a 540, pretty low k's, almost seems to good to be true...i've heard bad things about the early model auto's in them.would be a good excuse to undertake a manual conversion if it poped though.followed by sports suspension and adjustable camber/caster plates

I think I know the one you mean, It's a customer of ours, he also owns a white gt3,an older 911 cabriolet turbo and a cayenne and is looking at ghetting an e30 m3 haha, obviously has too much money the car is immaculate though, he got it for around 23k a few months back and has since had new shocks fitted and a few bits tydied up, i want it.. he will sell it soon guaranteed, i'd say he'll want 25-30k for it though

my 88 535 will be up for grabs soon, uk import, 157 thou miles 5speed manual 17x8.5 schnitzers, newish bridgestone 235's and new schnitzer centre caps,fresh paint,polished lip lowered angel eyes light grey cloth interior,a few marks and stains, rips in drivers seat.m tech wheel and gear knob, on board computer mechanically in great condition, tight feeling car down the road, recently done all fluids and plugs. tappets recently adjusted and cam shaft inspected, looks to be in exceptionally good condition, i'd say its been replaced at some stage or has been extremely well looked after not sure of name of colour but it's dark blue in shade, pearl purple/blue in sunlight-looks pretty cool. is not very tidy, needs a cosmetic tidy up,paint quite rough and a few dings, small bit of rust around sunroof, at the moment has a different coloured right front guard but may get it painted and a few touch ups done at the same time if it's going to help with the sale has a decent stereo setup, can sell with or without. pioneer head unit and 4 channel amp, jbl gto components up front jbl gto 12" sub in boot,home made box made specific to subwoofer requirements not sure on what it's really worth but to me its worth over 4k, if i'm not going to get anywhere near that i'll keep it for a while longer and postpone getting a 540. let me know what you guys think could do a package deal with the white 530 manual which has lsd and very tidy shell Rowan 0276962778

yeah i was looking at this car when it was still damaged, took it for a test drive and it went very well, was very sloppy in supsension and steering though but i'd imagine thats sorted if he's done bushes etc. still think hes asking a few grand too much,would rather have brents old 535i hartge

diff is medium case (6 bolts around flange) 3.64 ratio. keen to sell whole car with diff for $1600 pics to come

body is in great condition, no rust that i can find which is strange for a uk import no dents, a couple of scratches. but overall very very tidy, fr passenger door looks like it's been replaced at some stage as it doesn't blend very well in certain angles-only noticeable if looking really hard. offers over 1k for car without diff at this stage still has reg and wof, put diff in and engine and your away

i'm assuming large but will check that and ratio this weekend

would prefer to sell complete car at this stage sorry

89 530i SE, 5 spd manual, cloth int, white exterior,uk import body and interior are mint, no dings or rust,just needs a polish has done nearly 300,000k's lcd display in dash not working reg and wof till mid year m30 3.0L engine,head off, dropped a valve so needs engine replacement or use parts to do a manual conversion. clutch replaced in 2001, have some service history and original owners manual etc has limited slip diff,3.64 ratio,medium case wanting $1600, pretty cheap for a mint condition e34 manual with lsd,just drop a low k's 3.5 in and your away if your interseted will also be selling my blue 535 manual for around 4k, getting it tidied up then i'll get some photos up Rowan

you got the engine on trademe with nosiy tappets? if so i'm keen to check it out saturday, i guess i'll get more for my car going could be keen on instrument cluster or just the lcd module aswell

may be in the market for a 540i in a few months, just wanting to see whats out there at this stage.. would love a manual but auto will do(have to undertake a trans swap down the road). would also like one with lsd and mtech supsension of some sort, just want something a bit special really but won't turn down a low spec one either anyone have anything/know anyone selling one? if interseted have a 535 manual as part swap,also 530 manual with blown engine,hmm cheers Rowan

yeah brent siad we can talk turkey over the price of his engine, have yet to do so though..nt sure if i can really be bothered, we shall see. was thinking it would be worth more than that being that its manual, a manual conversion kit sold for $1200 on trademe a while ago
