No one wants bilsteins? Cmon show me some cash, twist my arm. You will be surprised at how much I can twist if you show me some money!
-
The amount of jealousy I feel right now is indescribable! I love facelift verts. Congrats on the purchase. I really hope to see this one in the flesh at some stage

The number plate holder - is it the rear one? I will have a buyer for you if it is

Hey Everyone
I am selling my suspension to upgrade.
Shocks: 51mm Bilsteins - short enough to keep a nice low car captive. They have been revalved recently (although I have no proof of this, Nathan used to own them so he can vouch for that. Correct me if im wrong, but were they rebuilt to custom specs?) No leaks or anything, nice and tidy.
Springs:
Rear - Eibach race springs from an M3 apparantly. 55mm drop (ish)
Front - Vogtland 4 cyl superlow 70mm drop (ish)
Ive had the setup in my car for around 8 months, and Im thoroughly impressed. Amazing handling and very good ride comfort. Nice and firm, but not so bouncy that it comprimises comfort.
No pics - because we all no what springs and shocks look like.
Price = $1350 for the lot
Cheers, Jason

*Hi* Tidy car! At seventeen your pretty lucky, dont take that sh*t for granted. Look after it.
What kind of *professional camera* do you have?
-
My prices (OEM stuff from BMW)
E36 M3 - $144
E60 545 - $206
Z3 1.9 - $110
E60 and E36 both have to come from Germany, but they have the Z3 in stock
-
There is differences between the 1.9 and the larger versions.I could be wrong but I wasnt aware of any differences.Z3/Z4 yes.
The gurus will know
As far as my research has taken me I have discovered that the E36 M3 or the Z3 1.9 shifter is going to be the best bet.
I can get them for around $115-$120

SUCH a sweet car! but honestly, the only thing it needs is more low in the front. Ten points dude

+1Aren't you the older and wiser one around here?
Lighten up Glenn, instead of dishing stick out whenever you see fit.

Bad move..Carspot in Frankton.
Good move!John @ Hillcrest auto service is ex BMW mechanic, knows his sh*t.

Is re-drilling a possibility with these?

That crosses mine off the list.. Not exactly an ideal tow vehicle hahaI should mention that it needs to be able to
tow.

My wheels are 9s at ET10 and they are flush. If you go et10 on a 7.5 they still wont look that wide. Also, if you want the stretched look you should buy some bigger rims. Watch this space, I might be importing another lot from the states. ESM, keskins, or Miros (the wheels that are on my car)

Ive got a white E30 Touring for sale

Heres my 2c for what its worth. Shocks wont make a difference at all. Fuel tank wont make a difference (just because the filler is on the side doesnt mean the tank is on the side, the tank is centered)
I have heard of cars sitting on an angle, so that when the driver gets in it is even.. but 1-1.5 inches is ALOT.
Check that you have the same thickness spring pads on each side, and check that the spring is seated properly.
If you think the springs may have sagged it would pay to just swap them over and see what happens.

Mark and Troy are handy like that. I can stand around and drink your beer. Let us know closer to the timeI have no experience taking engines out, nor the equipment needed like an engine hoist. I'm pretty useless, but I learn as I go along.
If anyone in Hamilton is able to lend a hand after 24th of June (My last exam), I can offer reward in beer/money/hugs and high 5s all round.
Or failing that, if someone is interested in taking the M20B25 out themselves, they can have it for $550 instead of $600+. Motronic 1.3, silent valvetrain, no funny noises.

Use E36 M3 evo front lower arms - if your pockets reach that deep! Or E30 M3 struts/arms. The rear isnt so much of a big deal. As for offsets - just chuck something on and see if it fits, trial and error is the best method, especially if you want flush/aggressiveness
