Yep, seen it in NZ. Trying to find a spoiler is the hard part... If you find an extra one Ill be first in line!
-
I'd have to measure it up, its been a while... It fits really well, 10mm bigger and it wouldnt work.
-
Thank you, its very exciting indeed! I get out of it shaking sometimes!

Small update. Have since enjoyed the sh*t out of driving this thing a hell of alot. It sure does turn heads! Some positive, some negative - people roll up their windows when I pull up beside them in town! Cosmetically all Ive done since cert is have the windows tinted to 35% by Protint in New Plymouth. Craig did an amazingly good job! Mechanically its had a bit of a tickle up.. Ive fitted an aluminium gilmer drive pulley setup, admittedly theres no need for this but I love the way it looks and sounds! Also, the open diff was not cutting the mustard and the new found power tore the old subframe bushes to pieces. I commissioned a LSD build from a forum member and ordered a Powerflex bush set from Darren at NZAD and then got to work! The car now drives so much better, particularly at speed and under acceleration. The diff is SUPER tight and will take some getting used to, but at least its predictable. I had a ball this weekend driving around, even got out at night to light up the country side with some big old flames from the exhaust! Cant wait for another sunny weekend to get out and drive this beast! Ive added some photos and a very small video that someone got today - not long, but better than nothing! More to come hopefully - https://vimeo.com/166683745

I really dont know what its worth but maybe 250?
-
I have a 3.73 med case open diff for sale if that helps you at all? Maybe rebuild with LSD centre?
-
I dont think he cares for the opinions on who likes manual and who likes auto. Does anyone know how rare the manual E92 335i is?
-
Hi All, as above - med case diff for sale. 3.73:1 Out of E30 - unsure what else it fits. Works great, no noise, no leaks, has been run on redline oil since Ive had it - pulled out to upgrade to LSD. I will accept any reasonable offer but would be happy with $400 Cheers.

Hi all, Im in the market for an LSD. I need something that will cope with up to 300whp. Does a standard BMW LSD cope? Has anyone imported and used the likes of Quaife or OBX? Or is there anyone locally who can rebuild an old shitty standard one to a better standard? What do the race guys use? I understand Im going to need to spend some money.. All help and advice appreciated! Jason

I'd have to drive it for that kinda business! Life has been taking over lately but I plan on taking some photos of it one day soon.. as for videos, wait till I have an LSD haha!

The best feeling ever! Relief almost.. Thank you! One of the best things to hear after pouring your soul into a machine.. Any time man, just let me know when you're down and I'll bring it out! The big shed in the pics is my mates - hoist, welder etc where the heavy work was done - the smaller shed is my old flat, where I did all the fitting up etc, Ive since moved so now just have a normal sized double shed. (on the plus side, it is my own now instead of a rental) Luckily all the hard stuff was done before the move! A good shed is vital to enjoying a project just that little bit more!

LSD (neeeed!) Better cooling in the way of bigger fans and maybe ducting. Paint work and general tidy ups SE sideskirts interior (seats, door cards) More power/boost (steve murch turbo tickle-ups, manifold, external gate, new exhaust) New solid bushes in rear subframe. Of course most of this is long term unless I come into vast sums of money!
-
So this happened! Its been a few weeks since then - a few hundred kms covered and I'm just loving it! The "improvements list" is already starting to grow in my mind....
-
Go to your local brake and clutch store, or repco etc you can buy them off the shelf at most places
-
$25 shipping. By the way, I have no idea how these are adjustable - they're different to the ones I'm used to.
-
Hi all Pulled these from a set of 51mm struts. Unsure of condition or anything. Anyone want them? Just pay shipping. Cheers Jason

I have 205/45/16 on 8 inch rim. Check this link for sizing guidelines http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infosheets/LVVTA_Info_01-2009_V2_Tyre_Size_to_Wheel_Size_Compatibility_Guide.pdf
-
Which are hard to find apparently.... haha!
-
Ok to end all this on my thread, I am not requiring 16x8 wheels for any purpose other than keeping all my wheels the same size so they match my cert plate.
-
Indeed, I am keen. Pics and price please Edit: are they 4 stud??? Wheel size affects ride height but not the distance from hub to guard, you could theoretically take the wheels off and still maintain the same distance.
