-
As far as Ive been told.. Nope! They are a few mms different and dont fit properly. But someone here is bound to correct me.
-
Hey there, can you post up a pic of the car at its current height?
-
Well done mate, looks awesome! I have time to do that, for a price of course.

Ill have the steelies if you end up giving them away, or swap for a box..

Find out if its got a viscous fan. If it does, warm the car up completely. Then turn it off and spin the fan with your hand. If it keeps spinning and doesnt stop straight away then the coupling is stuffed. The coupling has a kind of clutch in it that slips when the car is cold so that the car warms up as quick as possible, then wen its warm the clutch engages and keeps the fan spinning at full speed. When the coupling is stuffed it doesnt lock the fan and doesnt spin as fast as it should. Hope that helps!

I dont know e36's but its probably the fan or a blockage in the radiator/cooling system. If the E36 has a viscous fan you will need to replace the coupling. Jason

I had a visit the other day from a good mate of mine.. His name is Brook. He came in search of help for his sick E30. The springs werent captive, solution: Put some spring pads in. The brake pad warning light was showing, solution: Dont fix the problem by taking the bulb out, fix it by fiddling with the wire until the light went out. The headlights were black, solution: Take girlfriends stockings off the headlights. The bumper wasnt sitting properly, solution: Take it off and put it back on its rails properly. The drivers window wouldnt work, solution: bash the drivers door with fist until it worked. Front tyre has bubble, solution: Send Brook to firestone. (see attached photo) This post just goes to show that a little help from your mates can see you through sorting out niggly problems with your car, dont dodgy things up just because you dont know what to do. Ask for help. Its ok! Cheers for coming round brook, your always good for a laugh and keep me and matt busy with working on E30s when we run out of stuff to do on our own ones!

+1 to crushing. Or pushing them as fast as you can on the concrete to see how many times you can roll them and see how much chaos you can cause. They hurt when they go flying into an ankle or shin... Ive got quite a collection stashed away somewhere, must get it out and see what Ive got! Thanks to this thread grown men all over the country will be playing with matchbox toys for the next few days!

Thats cheap for brand new mate. You will have to do what the rest of us do and keep an eye out for parts or a car that gets wrecked. and you will probably be waiting for a while! unless you win lotto this weekend

The improvement I felt over time only happened over a few hours of solid driving. NOT likely pressure loss.To everyone else, thank you very much for your input. Im glad to know the facts and "not so facts" about nitrogen. Much appreciated. Jason
