  1. I'd say it could be the amount of 'colour' in with the black that'd make it appear different, as in some kind of tint or flake...Although if the original was a spray can job, you could only try another spray and see what happens.

Different brands, dulux etc...may have a slightly different finish colour, so without knowing the original paint used your playing a guessing game.

aww ok sweet as i know it was a spray can job by previous owner but dont know which brand so ill just have to try my luck with some repco cheap stuff

  2. been told to ask on here does anyone know if there are different tones of matte black paint. i was going to repaint a few chips in the paint but i dont want to buy a can and then find out its a different tone to the current one.

  3. Nice one Graham ;)

There's a long weekend late October, why don't you put the word out for a "cruise". Choose a meeting point, and a route and away you go.

Just don't say you're from bimmersport because I can guarantee someone will do something stupid to show off and we don't want our brand smeared in front of the good boys and girls in Blue

    :)

alright sweet will do we could organise it for that long weekend but i havent ever been on any good routes etc

  4. you realy dont want to know that one itll scare you off best thing to do is get the manifold the chinese one is fine i can sort you the turbo and you can run an internal gate to keep costs down, if you suck threw the stock afm and use a piggyback ecu with some lucas m42 injectors change pump to mitsi evo turbo youll have enough to make 300hp thatll wake your car up big time, if you want to make it stronger then use m50 rods and steel head gasket and caps screws for bolts itll run all day without issues
