I'm keen, I'll see if I can raise the $$ before the auction closes. Cheers Andy

I'm undecided. Each to there own but I personally dont like both of them. The first ones will highlight the strut and brakes which on the E30 arent particularly nice looking. The second set is similar feel but .. still not bulk enough. Your original set seemed to provide better coverage, of those two though I'd probably go with the second option, keeping to the colour coding aspect rather than going wiht the silver mags on black car..

would you really want to give dangerous advice though?
-
welcome dude - about time for another hamilton meet, would be good to meet ya.

Our thoughts are with you jock, not question over your loyalty and devotion to being a bmw enthusiast, even if you were always plugging the old ford territory. Take it easy man, your name will always be remembered.

Graham Henry turned up, I think that tipped it to the Aussies.

Went along and view this car as I was thinking about buying it, yeah the photos are a bit misleading, its actually brilliantrot going by the front strut tower sticker.

The ECU numbers differed but it ran far smoother than the automatic ECU. I'm still not sure on what the problem is, I'm going to have to by another coil as my ones leaking. Just chokes like fuel cut in certain RPM in different gears. Someone suggested it might be a fuel pump relay, the coil wasnt running so well, so swapped it for another one in my daily and it ran much better.
-
thanks Ray, appreciate the help. tried a manual ECU from a facelift 320i manual (have done auto-> manual conversion but didnt change ECU), swapped in a AFM, problem still ridiculing me. back to the drawing table.

Check around the hole for the loom in the firewall for any rust.
