just been to see it. It needs a lot of work, and thats an understatement. Its probably worth the 2k its asking but unless you've got probably $6k to restore it then I wouldnt take the punt. Buying it without viewing would be a silly move. There is terminal cancer in the rear left wheel arch. To its credit, it looks really nice, the engine although its got a weird sound on idle runs very smooth as does the gearbox. Has had a full rebuild (engine). p.s pm me if you want the lemoncheck on it.

Hi guys, edit - sorry about hte crap title, not very good. I took of the airflow meter on my facelift 320i today and found an oily substance on the inside of the AFM and around the seal. Does this signify a problem of sorts? or is this normal. Any idea's. Cheers bmw3

damn that actually looks pretty cool, a stepup from the old style.

i used a chizzell to turn mine. or you can whack a bigger sized allenken in it and turn.

save the hassle and just get an oil filter from BMW .. seriously. Wont cost over the top.. my last cost $11.00 as they were on special that month, so cheap I bought 3. Probably end up setting you back about $20.

Sun Visors $5 for the pair Brake caliper bits ( all 4 calipers, mostly disassembled with some bolts etc missing) $25 takes the lot 3 bottlecaps mags with crap tyres $20 each front centre console $15 e30 jack $15 e30 316i 1.8L air flow meter and airbox - $35 e30 instrument cluster with clock $25 lol painted the needles red for that M3...16i look 320i front shocks $30 coupe rear door cards $20 black mint Front Ashtray and cig unit - $5 Speakers - free cant confirm condition. rear parcel tray with speaker covers $20 auto pedal box $10 - been outside. rear numberplate holders $10 dashboard - 1 main crack .. others no so noticeable. $10 coil - fixed a problem with the car when replaced, so probably needs servicing - $5 also got a new battery clamp and bigger 10" hold down bolts that I need to sell. some other bits, not many..

I have a friend whose got photos from the Wellington street race, not sure if it was that year or not. Fair few M3's in there, will see if I can get them scanned in for you at some stage.

yeah, back in the day it was the same. 3 hours was not nearly enough, im sure we had sort of 5 - 7 case studies or papers to choose and could pick 5.. pretty much 1 hour, and 2 really really rushed.

Just what I was hoping not to hear .. Dan how do you find hte front mags/tyre's .. are they a staggered setup and do they rub? Looking at buying a set of 16's for my E30 but am not sure of the widths 100% yet, my guess is 16x7.5 x 16x8 so could have problems . Andy.

According to the sales brochure (chur Em), 3.91 was the factory diff ratio for the manual 320i's.

manual impact driver, the tap it on the head with hammer version. Will move it slowly with any luck not stripping it.
