You really should have conducted a citizens arrest as a voluntary member of the spelling police.
  3. Come on Beau, theres a difference between a company car (what you take home and night) and work vehicle (what you sometimes drive at work). I used to sometimes drive my boss' XR6, but on a daily basis the new Hilux allocated to me, it wasn't mine nor mine to take home, just there if I needed it. An XR8 would be hugely uneconomical and would've thought if it was a company car that you'd be on some sort of salary to get that.
  4. Quantity Surveyor / CAD Draughtie. Currently looking for work while studying. Do residential draughting work on the side at hte momentt.
  5. Welcome!, a JPS E30 - sounds interesting. Post some pictures if you can, that'd be great. Wide body kits typically came out only on the E30 M3, the only other one I can think of that widens it would be the BBS body kit, but that may or may not work depending on whether yours is a facelift / pre-facelift. Cheers, bmw3

    E30 seat removal

push the adjustment lever on the side of the seat down and pull the chair up and forward. This is the height adjusting lever. This should give you enough clearance to use socket. Check that there isnt a cap on top of the bolt.

  15. I don't know too muc habout the subject but the first thing that comes to mind is someones removed a grounding point and not put it back on correctly. If you suspect any damage has been done, first thing you need to do is let the panelbeater know taht you're having problems, no blaming just say that it seems to have started since and ask for any suggestions as to what might have happened on there part and anything they suggest, then take it to your local trusted / reputable / autosparky mechanic and have it checked out.

  18. Hey guys, Thought this would be worth a look. Someone sent me this link in an email, its a good way of getting information about your car, checking odometer readings, etc etc etc. All you need is your vin number and you can have a bit of look back into the history of your car. For $10 you can get the nitty gritty info as well. You're even able to check your average daily useage between WOF periods. www.carfax.co.nz Cheers, Andy.

  20. Read something recently that talked about fuel and saving fuel. Apparently: 1. The best time to fill up is in the morning when the fuels cold. It hasnt had a chance to heat up and expand yet, so you end up getting more at the end of the day. 2. The slower you pump your fuel the better,as the more fumes that come out the more fuel your losing. In some countries they have a regulatior on the pump that actually measures how much fuel you should be getting and how much fuel you get, then tops it up so that you get the correct amount. There was a few more but I forget now.
  21. I'm sorry, am I mistaken or did you just compare an BMW to a Holden..
