  1. Hi guys, I have a 2000 520i done 114,000km which I'm just looking to get rid of. Im open to ANY offers really. Anybody want it? I'll take the highest offer after a few days. One NZ owner for the past 9 years. It drives really well, very smooth trans etc, body is very straight, current WOF/REG, only problem it leaks coolant on to the ground (all of it) after you turn the car off after driving it. Feel free to come round and do what you gotta do inspection wise. It may be an easy fix, it may not be. I honestly don't care and its parked at my house doing nothing. Wheels are in great condition, no curbing, tyres are brand new. Just been serviced last month. Honestly drives really well, like I said, just when you turn the car off all the coolant pisses out. Grey leather interior, electric memory seats etc etc. Good fix up/parts car? Might even just need a new radiator. Im in Auckland Central - Stonefields Only have this pic for now. Txt 021410074. If I like your offer (try me, im very generous), you can take it away whenever you want. Merry xmas
  2. Thanks Allan. Ok, i'll get someone to have a gander and if its a major i'll sell it as a parts car. I traded it in at work on a brand new Mazda 3 for $500. It's a 2000 520i done 114,000km in silver and bloody straight to be honest! Any offers? I don't even want it so by all means try me.. Tyres brand new Apart from this leak issue it actually drives really well! Body very straight One NZ owner for 9 years
  3. Hi guys, Just a quick question before I have a proper look to see whats going on in daylight. I have a 2000 bmw e39 520i and is leaking ALL of its coolant, AFTER driving. It doesnt over heat and it isnt leaking into the engine, it's leaking straight on to the ground. With this small amount of info does anybody have any suggestions as to what it could be? My original thought was a loose hose but it was dark when I discovered the problem and havent looked in light yet. I just find it odd that it only leaks it out when the car is off (something to do with compression?) Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks

    Here's my Ethirtysex

Lower it more in the front, replace the rusty number plate screws and replace the front lip and then it wil be a nice looking coupe

    FS - 1987 M325i

Frothing. I think I have a buyer depending on how "or near offer" you are..
  7. If you want to lower it another 20-25mm in the front the easy way just buy e90 top hats.. aka drop hats. You can buy them from your BMW dealer for $150 a pair.
  8. Selling my vert guys. Click the following link for its basic info. Go to page 7 to see what it looks like now as it has been lowered more and is on different wheels etc as opposed to the first few pages. I will take $12K, nothing less. Cheers http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/45687-rowans-e30-vert-aka-the-blueprincess/

    M10b18 upgrade

If you are wanting power it would actually be cheaper to buy an m20b25 than to upgrade cam / webber kit / itb's or whatever you planned on doing on a m10. Just put a 2.5 in it and then do internals later on 288 Schrick, valve springs, ECU chip and remap and you're sweet.
  12. I sold my 16x10 / 16x8.5 RS's for $2,000 with no tyres and they were mint. All depends on who wants to buy at the time
  13. Na you cant use slip ons on the front of e30's unless you get a 15mm hubcentric spacer. Well, you can use a slip on but your steering wheel will wobble like crazy because you cant put hubcentric rings on if you use a slip on. Best to just skim the calipers down.
  14. Ive got 16x8 on the front with no spacer. I modified my front callipers to fit my BBS RS's so I imagine these must have been the same fitment if thats what you heard. It's easy to do, takes half an hour
  15. Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of months. Since then I've lowered it more and now it's on 16x9" Klutch SL1's.
  16. No problem, had it removed. Vehicle now sold. Sad to see it go so soon!
  17. As mentioned in the auction, I will be adding more photos. Thanks for your input. If somebody is genuinely interested and has been looking for a 635csi Highline then one photo would be enough to make them want to view it. I wouldnt buy a car based on how many photos were on Trademe. Anyway, interior photos added now
  18. As of last night, I did some thinking, and yes it's for sale. I've decided to keep my convertible as I have more of an attachment to that car. Im very reluctant in selling this but I simply dont have the space to keep both of them. Plus some more money in the bank wouldnt hurt. So I take it back, it IS for sale now.. Sorry no swaps!
  19. Maybe $1 reserve on Trademe is the only way to find out
  20. Na man still have the cab too. I got it off a mate who works for Team McMillan after he bought it off a guy who had it stored there for 7 months and was looking to sell it. Yeah im not normally a maroon/brown fan but it really suits it. Without telling anybody what I paid for it because it's irrelevant, and no I didnt get it for a bargain, what do you think something like this is worth? It's done 140k miles but its as mint in person as it is in photos. Also being a rare highline model is a huge bonus. Everything works as it should, no rust or dents, straight as a straight thing. As ssbmw informed us, it was sold by Giltraps 3 years ago for $27,000. Its a 1989 so the last of them. I know of a similar one in white done higher km's which sold for $18K recently. If someone could give me some insight that would be great. (not looking to sell it by the way)
  21. Unsure, it wasn't on the car when I bought it. Maybe he will try and sell it to me one day
  22. Does anybody want this for $15K ono? I have someone viewing tonight who is keen and someone trying to get finance approved but if it falls through It's back up for sale. Genuine reason for sale. I've had my fun with it and done what I neded to do. I now have this and a rare 635csi highline so will pass this princess on.
