  1. Yeh, thats not too bad mate. I did my M3 a while back and got 172.3kw. Car was 100% stock. Dyno Thread
  2. I am looking high and low, still can't find one.. why did you have to sell yours >.<! p.s. I like the AC idea !
  3. At a VERY VERY good auto trimmer Speaking of which, I seem to have found one! Well it's still a photoshop at this stage but hopefully be a reality soon ! Got the Remus off a guy up north (saw it on trademe).
  4. Quick question re steering wheel. Can someone confirm that an M-Tech 2 steering wheel off an E34 / E32 fits an E30? A quick google search seems to indicate that this is the case. Edit: Hmm, did a quick photoshop and I am thinking Tech-I looks pretty sick with suede too I am almost leaning towards the Tech-I
  5. lol simon. I got some colour coded overalls to go with the old M3... shame I don't have that anymore and my new car is silver! Going to have to rip the "3" off the "M3" stitching too or else I would look like one of those fan boys.
  6. Just payed a visit to a highly recommend auto trimmer and decided to re-do my existing gear knob. Stripped all the old leather off and going to get him to do something a bit special with it Will post some pics when it's done.
  7. Hmm, would be quite the "rake" with that much drop. Will think about it
  8. Ah, thats my workplace Don't I need to change the shocks though for that much of a drop? Edit: just got the old ruler out, and 30mm drop is ideal as it would make the front and rear gaps exactly the same. Anything more than 40mm is going to need some guard rolling and I would rather avoid that.
  9. Was that you that spotted me when I was turning out from the BP!? Not too fussed about "uber" handling just yet, but definitely don't want to go backwards. I have Bilstein shocks all around so it's not too bad as it is.
  10. Yeh, seller says they came off a 6 cylinder. How much did the fronts set you back?
  11. Can anyone enlighten me as to how the gear knob is fixed to the leather boot? Mine is one single piece, i.e the leather boot is actually the gear knob as well. Did a quick google search to see if I could find an exploded view of the assembly with no luck.
  12. Sounds good, and here I was thinking I was original going for the "rake" look
  13. Right, have been thinking about some basic suspension options to improve the ride stance and give her a bit more of an aggressive look. Thinking of getting these springs to lower the front a bit. My assumption is that I don't need to change the shocks as it's not a very big drop. I guess the real question is can I get away with lowering the front slightly and leaving the rear as it is? Logic tells me that this is probably not a good idea as I am assuming the cars center of gravity will be pushed forward which is not exactly the best thing for the track but I am thinking it would look pretty aggressive dipped a tad like that. This is a first for me so feel free to flame / point me in the right direction. Before / After.
  14. All in the pipeline $650 It's the full cat back exhaust though so it's a fairly big chunk of metal! Yeh, seems to be fairly rare.. All I could find was this but it's for an E36.. I assume there is no way to mod it to fit an E30? On the steering wheel note, I saw a mint E30 in the states with an E46 Msport steering wheel on it... how do they do that!?
  15. Not sure you want to be posting that on a public forum But some very quick driving there, I would be dead scared doing that on Summit Rd... one mistake and you could roll all the way back down to Chch!
  16. lol get looooose! Good effort man.
  17. M-Tech II off the Evo3? Alot lol ($475USD), but I am actually seriously considering it Pretty soon I am going to be as broke as an alcoholic uni student.
  18. Ah, bad luck man. It's not really a sellers market at the moment Someone pick it up.. she looks mint!

    My 325i 1992

Hey Yousif, Welcome to Bimmersport, nice ride man I would recommend: Motosport clear lights front and back angel eyes eye brows motor sport kit or colour code That should keep you busy for a while Check out my old E36, maybe spark a few more ideas.
  20. Yeh, Josh was telling me about this suede steering wheel... I want one so bad after seeing it! Any idea if someone stocks them in NZ? Hell, I am still struggling to source a gear knob lol!
  21. Yeh, this is more fun to drive lol It's like a go cart, you really have a connection with the road driving an E30. Just so much more "raw" than the E36 which is a more balanced, comfortable ride. When I first gave it stick, I was actually pleasantly surprised with the power, feels so much quicker than I expected. I will certainly miss smoking high end Japanese turbos and keeping up with the big guns around Ruapuna though
