  1. HAHAHA crazy bloody arabs. The arab guy goes "Bless You" when the BOV goes off lol.
  2. I dunno man... Look at the map overview and keep in mind this is not the f**king Chch square we are talking about... these are MASSIVE buildings and streets. They are expecting us to believe that fuel from a jet plane hitting WTC 1 traveled literally a block over building 5 and 6 while ignited and penetrating a vital column burning for less than a few hours completely collapsed on itself in perfect demolition fashion. Oh and this was the first steel building in history before or since 9/11 to ever collapse from a fire. There was even voice recordings of "pull it" going around however that could have been tampered with of course. I admit, I am not qualified to make the judgement here but my simple mind just does not stomach all that, especially when there are soooooo many other questions surrounding the whole event.
  3. 30mm KING springs in the front, nothing too special. Standard stock springs in the back
  4. So so keen man, we would make a nice twin act If I could find some decent non-cheapo looking ones I would pounce... show me where I can find some!p.s. some feedback on which photos you feel are nicer would be nice, that way I don't have to cart whoever is taking the photos all over Chch!
  5. Pretty sure it's going to butcher the handling but I guess we will find out on Wed! Keeeeen
  6. Trademe Auction Seems like there is something fishy here though.
  7. Judging from the response, seems like my calendar attempts are failing miserably Either that, or everyone is sick of me posting photos... which is a fair call
  8. Hey Al. Sorry to hear you are still having grief selling your car, it's definitely a nice example. Funny enough, I remember considering your car when I was in the market for an M3. The reason I did not pursue it further was down to the color and cloth interior. I know this is rich coming from someone who currently owns a silver, cloth interiored BMW but in my defense I think most will agree that Lachssilber is no ordinary silver. When selling my M3 I was lucky enough to get over 20k recently however it did not come from an enthusiast, in fact the guy knew little about BMW's! The only reason he saw my ad was because he was in the market for an Sti and I had injected that key word within my ad copy (as I see you have done). I also had VERY VERY nice photographs taken by a professional automotive photographer .It took me ages to seal the deal but a 40 minute "enthusiastic" drive around the Chch hills did the job nicely as he got to see exactly what he was paying for. I think trademe is still your best bet to be honest. See if you can convince a photographer mate of yours to take some nice photos at night, perhaps in mall car park so the silver / interior appears darker. Also, maybe you should consider daily driving it for a while with a for sale sticker on the windows and ensuring it's always immaculately washed and waxed. Sometimes it's much easier for people to get interested when they see it in the flesh. In short, these cars are damn hard to sell and I know of many who just gave up and put them in storage for brighter days. Good luck and keep us posted!
  9. No plane hit WTC 7 yet it still fell in exactly the same fashion as WTC 1 & 2?
  10. Not quire sure about the E36 models but E30 also comes factory with an amp. The problem with these amps are their output is less than most modern stereos so when the volume hits a certain level it's gets all crackly and crap because the head unit is putting out more power than the amp. The quick and easy solution to this is to completely bypass the factory amp and is what I did with my car. Could have been done for a similar reason?
  11. Right, fresh coat of paint on the areas that needed attention so now exterior is fairly mint. Since she got a full cut, polish, wash and wax I figured it was time to practice some calendar poses. Went for a nice wee drive around Chch scouting possible locations and trying to take some artistic shots. I fail pretty horribly with my sh*t camera but at least it gives me an idea of what it could look like in the hands of someone capable. Keen to try and sneek CRZARB in two years running, feedback on preferred shots would be much appreciated
  12. Very cool man, thanks for the colour codes too!
  13. The so called "war on terror" and the constant fear that has been pumped into the American public is the sole reason why the US Gov. was able to justify the Iraq war (which was naturally sparked by 9/11). If you honestly think that the US Gov. is there to "save" Afghanistan or "save" Iraq then you have a bit of catching up to do. The last thing they care about is the safety and well being of Arab civilians. You only have to do some brief reading into the Israeli/Palestinian conflict to see how little the US Gov. cares about oppressed Arabs. In short, the US Gov. is nothing less than criminal when it comes to international affairs, especially in the Middle East. With regards to the topic, did the US Gov. stage it... who knows? Personally, I would not be surprised if it was but thats probably my Arab bias peeking it's head. Having said that, I don't think any of us can sit here and be so sure let alone mock each other for thinking one way or the other. If the issue was so clear cut, why are so many Americans searching for answers today? Quite a few celebrities have spoken out publicly, why the hell would they risk their image if it was so black and white? Anyhow, R.I.P to those who died that day and R.I.P to the thousands more thay have died because of it.
  14. Not if I can find her first Can't say I have spotted this one before, must keep an extra keen eye out!
  15. Mmm.. yes does seem to be! If that is the case then the leather is only on the front seats. Heh, cheers man, feeling is mutual actually (especially the photo chopped version). Hopefully get some sick pics this weekend for Calendar comp!
  16. I know exactly how you feel man, I still can't believe it took me months to sell the CH's and to think they ended up in Aus...
  17. Wow.. that has a fair bit of potential Can't imagine it will last that long up there at that price!?
  18. Right, it was a bloody headache but managed to send them to Aus in the end. The cheapest option is sending each wheel individually via NZPost. All up it was around 300 NZD from memory. You would have to go into the post office and confirm though as it differs by weight (the BBS were very light weight mags). Good luck!
