got my car back this arvo.... took it for a drive and have a bigger grin on my face than i did in the e21.... i did the timing advance like andy and i finally kno how it feels driving a bmw, lol! also my clutch slave cylinder was rooted, so new one of those... valve clearances, tappets, shift bushes (oh the crispness is good) and a couple of other little things.... all i need now are the seats and suspension and i can begin on the exterior mods and get rid of the sad state my cars in now.... *cough paint cough*

You are wrong:You have the 325iS and the M325i .. The iS came with mtech suspension and a few litte mtech bits and bobs. The M325i came will a full Mtech body kit and with higher compression pistons which gave the motor a bit more power. Obviously there are various combinations of these models. I'm not sure but some may have had the dogleg box option - Juzzie Wuzzie knows more. There is also a 320is which was a smaller displacement de-tuned S14 and mtech suspension. I wasn't aware there was a "dicussion" going on. needed

Well i was coming out of uni up in albany and i pulled up to the lights, and basically my car turned itself off, i had a feeling it was petrol (not the first time unfortunatley) and yeah lights went green and i wasnt going anywhere, luckily out of pure randomness, andy happened to be in the cue behind me, as he was pulling out of the lane pissed of for having been made to stop i flagged him down and we pushed my car round the corner (its a pretty busy intersection) then into a car park, rolled down to the petrol staion, filled her up. She still didnt want to start, did some fiddling, found out my fuel pump has finally poked itself, so we got gus' holden and towed her to the mechanic and there she lies waiting for some love
