  2. Yea that's not a release bearing. It almost sounds like big ends knocking around.
  3. It will be fine to keep driving. Its only going to get louder though
  4. Release bearing for the rumble that stops when you press the clutch, and a vacuum leak for the idle dip i think .

  8. I did this late last year. there is a plug in the glove box you disconnect or connect. I can remember which. Have a look on e30zone there are plenty of threads about it.
  9. Im after a steering arm that goes between the rack and the firewall for a manual steering rack and a getrag 240 for an M20. Cheers, Chris
  10. I did start a thread a few years ago but everything was happening so slowly I never updated it. Its round at my dads place. I have no room for it at the moment.

  12. That would be my new Isetta that has been spotted. It is indeed the one from Dunedin. It is definitely restorable but it will sit in the shed until the other one is finished. Parts are readily available from the states and Europe and restored ones are worth abit of money. But why would you want to sell something that cool????
  13. Turboprops are a gas turbine engine so no turbos or superchargers are required there.
  14. I have almost completed the manual conversion on my car and all thats left to do is the wiring. I have done a good search on google and thee seems to be alot of different ways to do it. What wires do i need to join? I dont have cruise control or anything . Car is a pre facelift 325i Thanks Chris

  19. Where can I buy all the vacuum hoses and intake elbow for an M20 E30? Ive been to the dealer but they wernt to helpfull and were quite expensive. Cheers, Chris
  20. As the title says can someone please give me the torque values for an m20 flywheel and pressure plate. I have misplaced my trusty Haynes manual. Thanks in advance, Chris
  21. Im after the following parts: -Drivers seat, any condition -M20 sump or maybe a complete M20b20 engine at the right price -Rust free sunroof panel -Pair of Pre Facelift tail lights including the backing plates Im located in palmy so the closer the better. PM me or post on here, Thanks, Chris

  23. Thats exactly what I did they are both brand new and i still cant get them to bleed.
  24. Me and my Dad are restoring one at the moment. A fully restored on on worth about 20k from what ive seen them go for on Trade Me and Ebay. Parts arnt as bad as you would think. We have got alot of parts from a guy in the states and patch panels from the UK.
  25. Ill try the syringe trick and if that doesnt work ill pull the slave off and have a look to see how far its extending. Otherwise you could be right Mark and ill go get a new master cylinder. Its just so damn frustrating!!!
