I had a South African e30 and it never had the vin number on the firewall. I took it back to the steel and there still wasnt anything under the paint. Is this just unique to African e30s?

With your inlet manifold are you just going to cut the two flanges and then weld a piece of alloy pipe between the two then smooth the inside out??

The rattleing under load could be detonation in the engine? Have you checked the timing?

Mine only rattles when its idleing and my foots off the clutch. Once im moving or my foots on the clutch it goes away. I would be abit concerned if it was ratling when the engines under load...

I used mine for a while on my daily and they wore down quite quickly

How did you manage to snap 5 bonnet bolts? Just get a 2nd hand bonnet dude. Easy fix.

Cheers dude. Fraser's are nice pieces of kit, far better than a genuine 7. Yea ST170s have 170hp standard and variable valve timing on the inlet cam which means you cant buy one for $50 lol. Do you know what sort of power the 4AGE is pumping out?

Hahaha yup im surprised it bent that far and didnt snap. But it makes a good wall ornament lol. It took out one of the oil squirters down below and put a decent groove in the bottom of the bore.

^^ that's just an example of the car meets this it should be quite exciting So I started to pull the engine down and when I took the head off things started looking a bit sad After this I pulled the pistons out and found out why number two piston wasn't at TDC The engines now being dumped in favour of one that I bought on trade me with a blown head gasket for $50. Score!!!!!

I think they need to loose the yellow lip on the rims to make it look just that little bit better. The Virgin car looks awesome. It looks like Ferrari, Mclaren, Mercedes and Red Bull are all going to be at the front and Sauber might be the surprise package with Kobyashi who impressed me alot during the final two races of last season. Its still hard to tell whats realy going on with the times in testing because each car can be carrying upto 160kg of fuel

I dont know why those beams were exposed like that. It would have been easy to have the track go up the side and cover the beams, thats the benifit of hind sight thoug i guess. I dont agree with TV3 showing it.

^^^ I would keep away from Chevrons dude. Do you really want Vauxhaull viva front suspension? The build quality isnt the greatest either. I wont start on the engine lol
