  7. I was VERY hung over today and didnt fell like doin to much, thought i do some car stuff to make me feel better so went out to a freinds place who wreaks bmws (dont no why i didnt get onto this earlier! stupid Riley) and it honestly was a treasure chest of bmw delights ! and ive only seen half the collection lol. Let me no if you want anything and ill get it cheap for ya
  8. Mate they look bloody nice! perfect offset and dam rare
  9. Read my comments on weight on the other thread The cars still not finished yet but if anything we expect it to handle better Your guestimate on price is pretty much spot on mate, you wont have alot of change from that if someones doin most of the work. Diffs not really a big problem, i just dont want it to be revving to high @100 it will be berable but not ideal
  10. Id say $7k to $10k , ive done ALOT of research and have alot of mates in the industry so ive been able to save ALOT of time, money and heart ache in the process but it is still very expensive. Fun thought ! I havint done any thing by halfs everything ive done has been top quality and with reliability and performance in mind.
  11. Also worth noting, the car now sits higher at the front with the 1uz in it than it did with the m20
  12. I think my 1uz was only around 140kgs from memory, also you have to consider the v8 sits alot further back in the engine bay than a straight six like the m20. Weight distribution is alot better, also the w series toyota gearboxs are around 10kgs lighter than the getrag m20 gearbox, it all helps
  13. No probs fella, Its honestly not that hard to do the 1uz conversion. You need a front sump for a start Using a mk2 vw golf booster (almost fully bolts up) moved over about 6cm or so to the right (half behind the strut tower) Go the 8 mate, its not cheap but should be more reliable use less gas and they weight less than all straight 6 toyos and nissan rbs. Ill warn ya now its not cheap if you want to do it right
  14. Lol im not after $1500 for mine, i just put it that high so no one would buy it. I only have it on there so i can find someone who has the correct ratio and wants to swap it with my 3.73
  15. Simple answer no. its totally different
  16. 153kw at the wheels is nothing to sneze at, thats pretty good power
