  2. Hey all, well another niggly thing about my e46 is starting to bug me, When I start the car all goes well, then the right hand brake warning light comes on, from here if I signal Right the indicator goes mental like a bulb is out... then comes right. But.. if I turn on my park lights to have the spots going the warning light goes away? What bugs me the most is all bulbs are going, to my limited knowledge, if I put my foot on the brake the far lights glow, if I turn the lights on all 4 lights glow, indicators all good.. I hope any of this makes sense.
  3. yeah I kinda assumed that it would be better for a new one. I have heard that little problems in the E46 are common. Thanks M-Spec

  5. Hi Team, Just purchased a 01 E46 318i, The Temperature Senor is not working (I am guessing due to reading -40c) Anyone know in NZ where I could get one of these from?
  6. Hey Guys, Selling my Pride and Joy as needing 4 doors due to expanding family http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=314741290 Number plate: EAF791 Kilometres: 97,000km Body: Silver, 2 door, Coupe Fuel type: Petrol Engine: 4 cylinder, 1790cc History: 2 owners, Imported Registration expires: Oct 2010 WOF expires: This month Stereo description: N/A, Fusion 250WATT component speaker system in custom box Features: ABS brakes Air conditioning Alarm Alloy wheels Central locking Driver airbag Passenger airbag Power steering This is the 318is, meaning it's the twin cam chain driven engine and the sportier kit, including M-sport seats with extendable fronts, and lower and stiffer suspension. Mechanical condition is excellent. The roof lining has dropped down in places like many BMW imports but very cheap to fix, and the fabric door linings are loose. A pretty minor point in the grand scheme of things though. Tyres are very good, and the drive is fantastic. Well serviced at every 10,000kms This is a good, sound low-K's sports coupe in a sensible insurance bracket. Come and drive it, you'll be glad you did. There are some Fusion 250watt speakers in the back molded into the back parcel tray in custom boxes and a recovering of the parcel tray. These are included into the car, at the moment there is no head unit that will be included in the sale but I can fit one if required. **Head Unit in Photos Does Not Come With Car** This is a great car and I am very sad to let her go, but due to expanding the family the 2 door needs to be replaced.
  7. I Dont know why I never searched on here before looking on the net for the past 2 months in how this is done. Great advice, I thought it would have something to do with Desolving the old glue to get that panel off. Thanks guys,

    535 Troubles

Hey thanks for all the response, I've /we've checked fuel pressure with a gage, fine, checked sparks and dizzy fine, might check that hose. its hard to describe, but when it happens I have to drive Half clutch and pump throttle to keep revs up, like a drummer hitting a drum, man I get a sore leg but if its the only way I can get it home.. when idleing it is below 1k flutters around half throttle kicks up a bit then drops back down (even when holding that position) its a real strange problem, thinking on taking it to the Pros (Shelly BMW) I Know its gonna cost me a Mint taking it there,
