I have 2 x 1" polished 001 lips. Make an offer
-
They K designs look so dope! $1500 is a pretty good price considering they are in mint condition and that for $1100 you can get a set of shitty chinese made 17" bling bling wheels. Not a lot in the price difference for something truely unique! I just got myself a genuine set of Momo R3's today (and another set of staggered 17" Work VS-XX). Can anyone say rocking horse sh*t?
-
He's also got these 16x8 et18 ATS Cups. Word on the street they might come up for sale soon!
-
NO THEY HAVN'T. Nor have over 2k of my own bits!!! When you get a PM in your inbox saying "hey dude lips are here" - lips are here.
-
Yep that's Phil who sold you your set Blackie. He also has just had a container of mega cool rare wheels arrive, 16x8" ATS cups, RS, these and a bunch more! These wheels are the tits, just look at them on that 5 series, coolest wheels for a BMW in my opinion! You'll never find another car like it!
-
A mate is selling these, anyone who knows what they are knows how hard they are to get! Ever seen a set here? Great condition! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-315696291.htm

I'd reuse them. Been done so often before, as others have said just make sure you get the correct torque settings! I'll reuse the original bolts on my 2 piece RMs too, sweet as.
-
Tis a bitch of a job but rewarding to see the end result. What did you use to seal yours up?
-
Here are some crappy cellphone pics (can take better ones if you like but all you see is shiny bolts). I painted some paint stripper on the bolts to get the clear coat off, then used autosol and a big old bench mounted polishing wheel from one of the VW boys and polished each bolt. I still need to use a dremell to go over each one again, but from 1m away they look perfect as is. If you're super anal like me you'll want original bbs bolts with "BBS" scripted on, new bolts don't say BBS OCD perhaps? If anyone is going to throw their old bolts away send them to me!!! I was missing 30 bolts but managed to find some - thanks to APT! All up to get them 100% mint i'm thinking it will be around 8-9 hours work for 120 bolts. Sorry to dump this all in your thread Brams!
-
I have polished my original bolts, took me 5 hours for 120 bolts and they're still not perfect yet but only cost me a tube of Autosol and my time! Will post pics soon.

I'm only going on what guys in the scene have told me, not facts from the authorities. Perhaps if you certed it'd be sweet!
-
Anything can be done Jeddy! Only problem is 5 to 4 stud adaptors are 'illegal' in NZ. Just throw your standard wheels on for a warrant!
-
Closing at 6:55 tonight! Do none of you classy BMW gentlemen like 3 piece work wheels!?
-
Get ya bidding hats on ladies and gentlemen! I'd be stoked to get a set of LMs at this price!!!!! Even Aunt Fanny would want them at this price!!
-
Auction closes at 8pm tonight. Bloody good buying at this price!
-
Now on trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...389&ed=true

Wasn't a weld spot sorry it was from the hole being drilled out. Got it sorted and one of the VW boys volunteered to take that lip anyway. Expecting our last box any day now guys, appreciate the patience.
-
Haha cheers E, should be a fun auction to watch I think there are a few keen beans on these. Am always on the look out for nice ones, will let you know if I come across any!
-
17x7 3 piece work vs-xx - Bloody good and sought after wheels. I will be $1 reserving them on Monday on trademe, 5x114.3 et47 so you'd need to run adaptors but this is accommodated by the high offset! Dope as dope gets!
-
You're right. But at the end of the day they're not going to sell for five hundy are they. Too much fart assing around with offers and counter offers, too many wheels, time to build a car. SEXY WHEELS!!
-
Sick of time wasters telling me it's a done deal, out they go so grab a bargain. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.as...656&ed=true

Brams your rims look excellent mate, well done on doing all this yourself. You'll find that the lips will be a bit duller with the clear coat on them, even taking the clear off makes them look pretty well polished - ask Phil75 he stripped the clear off and they looked pretty bling! Only downside is you need to polish them every now and again to keep them looking nice if you don't have a clear coat on them. What are you going to do with the nuts? I'm going to polish mine by hand, have just stripped clear off them and am picking up a polishing wheel later in the week. I haven't read the whole thread so don't know what colour your car is, but gold nuts look great on black centres (depending on your car). Look forward to seeing them all together!

I reckon 3" with a wee bit of stretch. Nice photos dude! Didn't even see, what sort of camera were you using?
-
Sorry bro he's sent the last package already, cut off was ages ago! Do you have a set of 003s? 16" rims sting man, 15s are much cheaper to do up!
