Thanks for that but "do a burnout" and throw it away" were options i had already considered. Was hoping to find an alternative to throwing away a $300 tyre with 90% tread.

I was gonna add, "apart from doing burnouts...." Is that a proven fix?

After thinking i had a wheel bearing problem, I have found a flat spot on one of my tyres which i bought 2nd hand. Its causing a vibration though the front wheels. Anyone know whether this can be ground off or fixed short of replacement? I will be speaking to the seller but I have had them sitting for 6 months......

I have 2x centre caps part numbers 09.24.038 (outer disk) and 09.24.029 (inner) One roundel is faded out with just the blue and while logo left. The other is one is average, with the clear coat lifting around the edges of the roundel. $60 the pair. Tabs on the back are complete so both are 100% functional and will lock on.

After stuffing one of these plugs i can recommend the following if it is coroded stuck; there is a white? centre tab on these plugs, grab that gently with some pliers, with the other hand release the two side tabs and pull it out. I have seen some threads saying to push the plug through the opening and then disconnect. Thats good for mangling the plug.
