Right so I've got it back from the painters on Friday last week and spent a bit of time outing it back togeather and really enjoying every min of it, I took it for a lil drive tonight lets just say it's a lot of fun, he's some pics of my progress, I've now got m3 gearbox diff axles subframe and brakes on with nolathane bushes the cage has now got padding and the windows are in, what's left is fitting the seats and harnesses the e46 high stop lights and side skirts, I think I'll make powercruise on Friday :/ maybe

Cheers bud, got a couple more updates... Went everywhere to find good things for my car, found some grip tape from the surf shop 30 bucks for 3m which I thought was pretty good, I got my catch can back half welded so I can finish the internals of it, made up some heat shields for the bonnet that sh*t really cuts ya deep if ya not carful lol, I also installed E46 high stop lights in the front and rear, the front is activated via the missile switch, those switches are awesome I just want to have them for everything... Question does anyone have or know where to get a intercooler water sprayer from?? see I got the wires there that run from the ECU and id really like to put it to use
-
Ok so the rear seats appear to be the same as any other e36 coupe seats but in leather, they are the folding type. The gear knob is a cheap type and in poor condition The extractors will be used for our company race car sorry Any other questions I'd be happy to answer
-
That is a good question, ill find out tomorrow for ya Ill also check the condition of the gear knob for ya too then evaluate a price.
-
Haha so worth looking for gold at the beach then huh?!? Ah.. yeah everything on this car is for sale, bar the engine, gearbox, driveshaft, diff, axles, hubs, brakes, dash cluster and sill m kick plates and mirrors they going in my car lol Ill check them out tomorrow for ya and let you know a price.

Hey guys is anyone going to the powercruize event on 16th and 17th of november?
-
Ha getting my head around the new page layout, its quite good. Ok a couple of updates.. Ive just spent countless hours sanding the car getting it ready for paint, don't look to hard at the paint job ok im not a panel beater lol Ive also fitted a oil pressure sensor sender unit to where the oil light light on the dash gets it signal from, as the threads are 12x1.5 for the sensor plug and 1/8npt for the a/m sensor so I drilled and tapped a wheel bolt as you cant find adapters for this sort of thing. Ive made the floor out of 3mm alloy sheet and going to get some skateboard grip tape to complete it Also upgraded the dash from the early grey/black one to an late e36 black one which looks a lot nicer I reckon umm.. I made a catch can out of cardboard then out of alloy from bending it in the vice, just need to get it all welded up now, I made it without doing any research on it haha so I think it may be a lil big, but guess better to big than to small huh And fitted some bonnet catches the flush mounting ones The goal is to have the vehicle ready for powercruize in taupo for the 15th nov
