Yeah who knows aye-i dont wanna steal this thread, but i actually think there is nothing wrong with it at all- its just i had been used t drivn my old man's car b4 that, and even from the outside u could hardly hear the v8 eh. Bravomikewhiskey, where are u getting it done? there is a good bmw mechanic in waipapa also.

Bravomikewhiskey, where did u get the cambelt etc done? I got mine at Jim Murdochs, he is good, (and the bmw service stamp is too). he does it himself, but does charge as much as JCBMW or TMBMW, which sucks. he told me the tapping was fine and it was nothing to worry bout eh nath

Gus, do you know any of the ppl that got fired? because that happened a few months ago when this lady started there- she fired the lot for the same reason as i got fired- not turning up once. The PG is for not getting paid- i really need the money to simply survive!! I would love to know who else has been laid off by these ppl

Thanx Sam, Yeah i signed a contract, and yes a pg is on the cards The filthy slut is stalling, but for no reason really, i really just want to make her sh*t her pants, and i want my pay!! im just gonna tell the laywers to bill the family corp. lol And yeah, i have a good employment laywer who has told me to wait until monday, if nothing has happened then- he will start the ball rolling

Ok, so i was sacked on tuesday, yeah my bad- i deserved it!!, BUT my ex- employers are now refusing to pay me until they have called ALL supermarkets i worked at to confirm that i was there (i was every time, until the day i wasnt, and got fired) I need the pay right now, so i have consulted my parent's law firms, Tetley- Jones Thom Sexton, and Sellar Bone and partners. Also my IRD tax investigations lawyer uncle. The say i easily have a personal grievance claim on my hands, and to pursue it with them (the lawyers) if i hear nothing from Phenomenon by monday. Just wondering are there any other ex- employees out there? I know the entire 'talent' (ppl like me) were fired as soon as the new co- ordinator arrived a few months ago. Cheers guys, this could be fun edit - to ensure your claim goes through and no defamation shizle comes of you posting names etc, i have removed them. + bimmersport is not here to allow slandering of companies.

Ok, so i was down at Mt Maunganui for a week or so, and i didnt drive my car for that time (i have an R32 beetle for a few months now for work). I went to start the bmw, it started first pop, but ran rough and blew some smoke. the smoke stopped after bout 8 secs, and ran smooth. I drove off and the engine (yes engine not gearbox) was making a sort of clicking noise, which sped up with the revs. The noise stopped after a minute. Since then, the car has been running like new, as it has been for the entire time and 15,000 kms ive had it for. This is a jerry clayton full history car since new. Why did it do this to me?? Im not desperate for an answer, just ideas or something. The car runs fine now nath

To be honest, I don't think he is selling it as an alpina anyway- he had it for sale as a BMW 325, and even the rego says bmw 325 alpina C2 (from memory), so really it is just an alpina modded 325. buy it as that. And it does have the alpina plaque on it.... but i never did read what model the plaque said it was. I still want it... just for the wheels and sterring wheel aye. If by some stroke of luck i did get my hands on it, i would sell the sport seats etc dirt cheap stolen325, when did you contact the guy? did he really go overseas?

Yeah my old man did the exact same thing on his LS430, and he also did wheels. the wheels werent even much different, and both voided the warranty. lucky the car hasnt broke yet!!

LOL so why not drive without the rears on? not that i do, koz the dash lite pisses me off, but just curious as to why not. the switch seems easy to take off, perhaps dirty/ corroded connections? meh not that i should be listened to lol

Hmmm and yeah, thts where im stuck. i dont HAVE the space to do it- so maybe a turbo is the smart option; i fully forgot bout that eh. I am just at a loss as far as what to do goes- new motor/ turbo/ just fuken get another goddamn car Costs involved with a turbo to just "get it done"? Throw random ideas at me guys, i need ideas at this stage

Ok, so the descision has been made to shove a 2.5/ 2.7(?) in. Firstly, is this a good idea? ........(yeah i know its better to actually get a 325i as far as money goes, but i dont want 2 cars, and mine is the most perfect condition coupe i eva did see.) Secondly, how much will this all cost? should i put a 2.5 or elusive 2.7 in? Any ideas? If this gets the go- ahead, ill start in bout 3 weeks time. Cheers guys

The guy WILL sell it to you for 3k, if you want to pay that for a 325i with an alpina chip. it does have sport seats, mtech1 sides and genuine alpina bits- sell them or put them on a decent car...... He lives at torbay on the north shore- but apparently he was going to USA just after i had a look, and at the last minute he said that i could buy it off his mate after he was gone.... pretty sus i reckon.
