As stated wanting an e30 boot lid for 87' coupe Don't mind what colour as it will be painted (car is burgundy) Want one without spoiler holes in it. Also must be rust free and overall good condition. I'm in CHCH so will be prepared to pay postage to get a good one down here if it can be arranged BOOT LID FOUND AND PURCHASED

Ok, i think its going into protection(the amp) and cutting out(which causes all the speakers to cut out). Its really just looking after itself. What gauge wiring is going in and out of the amp and whats its capacity? You could try rewiring with a higher gauge cable as potentially not enough power is able to flow in or out of the amp.

A member on here offered to do it for i think around 290 subject to me providing the parts. But i've got a friend who will be able to do it, i just wondered if anyone has any info or links relating to it? I'm on the look out for a new car but i'm going to keep this one as well.

I've got an 87' e30 with manual windows and sunroof. I want to change them to electric and was wondering what i need and how much it'll cost. Does anyone know of a thread on here or any where else that can help me out?

I'm currently actively seaching for a 325 and was plesantly surprised to see so many at the moment Also wanted to know peoples opinions of these? and are there any that anyone knows of that should be avoided or has any more info about?

Ok so the bottom ones sold, was to slow. Any way i'll prob be on the serious look out for one in about 6 weeks time so if someones thinking about selling could ya let me know please. Cheers

I got it back and its going really well at 100kmh was at about 2900rpm

Isn't the exchange rate going the right way? An appreciating NZ dollar means foreign currency is relatively cheaper

I work at a post office so if someone gives me the plates i'll see what i can find out. Didn't he say it was down a drive tho? You could just walk down and ask them in that case couldn't you?

thats alright i've got a few years. Its still in the pipe dream at the mo, Dependant on other factors but cheers Hows yours going?

I'm not sure if thats true. I think they have to be reasonably close in order to get a read (about 100m or less) and be able to visibly see your car. It also takes time for them to get a read(their radar has to work out the speed the cop is going and check your speed, Often i find myself detecting cops 400+ m away (sometimes not even it sight) and having ample time to slow down. There will be ways around this, such as dash mounted ones which aren't visible with the alert hidden away. I'll try and find a link with more detail

I remember reading something on here about advancing your timing. I've got a 87 e30(Jetronic) and i understand it is possible to do so in these. Does anyone know how much it can be advanced and what sort of difference can be expected. Cheers

I emailed Ireland Engineering and they said the 2.7 build with a 3.1 stroker would work fine. They also pointed out the usually other upgrades that would be beneficial.
