Mhmm unfortunately we dont know the year of the car it came from. Hell I get cost price at my parts place so I might even get both and use the one that fits. Frantic, I too thought 323s never came with 240s but this was definitely on the back of a 2.3. Wierd huh.

Im looking for the right part number for the release bearing for my g240 that came from a 323i and is going into my 323i (both e30s). I notice the number changes in 03/1984 from 21511204525 to 21517521471 . What I want to know is, do the measurements of the bearing itself change or am I right with either one? My cars an 83, the car the gbox came from is year unknown, but obviously pfl. The gbox # is 2400046090 I cant get the numbers off the old bearing cause its gooone. If no one knows, im just going to go with the latter 21517521471 one, I've got a good feeling about it Thanks!

Bahahah go Foxy. If it hasn't been said already, the crowd that was doing them back in the day were using mk1 golf rear hatches.

In Perth I have spotted a Gay st, a Blackbutt road, and just around the corner a stoner st

Good stuff dude, they are cool.

I used to see the black one all the time, its just behind Courtneay place. Yeah the paints a bit rough but it still looks cool - its a tech II e30! Overpriced imo.

Hey fellas. Need to get a spigot bearing for my m20 e30 as I am doing the manual conversion this weekend, no parts places can get one in by tomorrow so my only option is to get a generic one from a bearing shop tomorrow. Questions: -Is this possible or does it have to be genuine? -What does it look like, like are there any special grooves in it or stuff like that? -Are there any specifics about the bearing I should know? I've got the dimensions as 12x32x10 on realoem. As you can see, I know FA so if you could help me get this sorted thatd be great! Cheers

Wee update: - Replaced rear view mirror - swapped digital clock for an analog one. - installed all that plasticy material boot lining - Chucked some rear seats in, but the bottom half is from a fl so it dusnt bolt in - Bonnet ground strap installed - Test fitted smiley headlights - works good. Now i need to find a passenger side set. - bootlid toolbox installed. All of the above has come from my smashed 318i. On the manual conversion front, I've got the clutch pedal, brake pedal, clutch master cylinder, clutch fluid res, lower + upper shift boots, and clutch fluid line (s) all from my 318i. I've got a gearbox and other bits coming on the 20th (apparently). Todays job is to fit the pedals, master cylinder, and clutch fluid reservoir. It should be easy as I know where it all goes since I pulled the stuff out of the other e30 . Theres one thing I'm not sure about - the radiator expansion tank is mounted on the drivers side strut tower where the clutch fluid res is meant to go, I imagine this is the same for all pfl m20 e30s, so where is the alternative location for said reservoir? I'm about to do some research so I'll probably answer my own question but yea. Max. edit, scrap that last question I just worked it out. lol@me.
