  1. I get what you mean gus. I got pretty new front shock at the moment and they are fine at the moment. As well as the camber problem the rear of the car bounces on corners. So what are the shocks to go for then? Looks like new shocks and springs in the back.

(God dam money pit car )

  2. I don't think so, I got new stock shocks in the front and old old one in the back and i can go round corners faster than i could before. The front end grip is real good, so much more than before. The problem is in the back for me, I have lost so much grip in the back compared with my standard springs and shock. Who do you guys get all you jamex springs off?

  3. The camber was normal before i lowered it so i think that would rule out a bent subframe or trailing arms. As far as i know the shock are still original in the back, getting replaced soon hopefully. Unless there was a mix up with the springs I got 30mm one in there, and they are captive, I have to unbolt the shocks to get them out. Is it possible to buy aftermarket springs that have the same height but just stiffer?

  4. Is there anything else that could cause the massive camber on the back wheels? Have a look at the welly meet pics and you see what i mean. There are springs that drop it 30mm in there at the moment and the camber is just too much. How else could i fix this problem? (Without anything drastic of course)

  5. Looking directly at the front of the headunit there are 2 little panels on each side about halfway up. Use a little screw driver to open them up. Behind them there are 2 allen screws, undo these then pull your head unit out. Make sure you insert the allen key all the way in or you could strip the screw head. I assume you have the standard e30 antitheft headunit.

  6. So a H22A would be in a 2.2 dohc v-tec prelude wouldn't it? So how come my mates M20B25 which has been put in a 320i in the most bodgy conversion possible (its even running Jetronic) bet my other mates 92' Prelude? (Both cars are 5spd man) And... I would say the prelude is the better driver.

  7. There was a review in MOTOR a little while ago. Got a dam good write up. I don't know heaps about them but those engine specs were pretty good, even by todays standards they are good. 236 kW from 3.6 Litres is wicked. Also they'll get a little bit cheaper but won't be long before they would be a pretty good investment. A M5 is way cooler than any standard 3 series.

  8. So say a normal 325i goes for around $7000? (Which should get you a mint one) Your paying and extra $3000 for a bodykit, different steering wheel, basket weaves, and some M badges around the place? Ok I know thats not exactly right but I suppose it mostly the factory badge that your paying for?

While M325i are wicked cars and I would love one theres still something cool about the wagons. What are you looking for in a car? Performance or looks or practicality?

  9. Even so i'm sure my power/weight ratio will be twice as good lol.

Yeah i said you'd have double the power of my car. I'm not even close to triple figure kilowatts. What do you think yours will make at the flywheel?

I also say rip out all your interior. What does a track car need carpet, radio, door cards for?
