sorry guys a didnt get more of a description but i admire any bmw so it was just a plain jane e36. i support cycling in NZ. my family do the iron mans (im to freakin lazy) and they have to train and what not so i support them doing that. and more power to the people who can peddle their ass up a big hill the cyclist was ok....just a few cuts and bruises. but was more worried about his bike!

today i was driving down to work...(as i do every weekday) and what i saw bought shame to the people who really care about bmw's and even cars. and a total disregard for another humans life...ill explain minding my own business when the bmw inhead of me which i was admiring ran a red and hit a cyclist. and didnt stop. now being a good person i helped the poor guy whose bike (fully carbon fibre) was a wreck. by the time my brain had clicked onto what had happened the silver e36 3.20 was too far away to get the plates. someone must know of a bmw fitting that description with what would now be atleast a dented bumper and bonnet on the north shore. it was a bunch of young hoons. i hope these guys are caught. thats just not right. it just gives us bmw enthusiats a bad name. sorry to whinge

sh*t yeah...the last issue i found had a whole host of mint cars. my favourite was either the e30 wagon with an m90 long nosed supercharger out of a jaguar or the 900 hp nos snorting m coupe. now that was a drag car to behold. seriously...i found it on the shelf one day and felt like bmw jesus was looking down on me. it is a very cool mag. with amazing parts to be imported. mine has been read so much it looks like a year old porno

yeah mate...chech www.performancebmwmag.com or go to your local magazine shop. they may have to ship it in though as for that bmw....yeah its ugly! firstly not a fan of chromes. so they are the first thing i notice. then those stupid taillights. seriously. waste. engine is cool but could have found a better conversion. just my 2 cents

for a targa car? i recon drop an 87 m3 lump into it. saw one in performancebmwmag once upon a time and that thing was a beaut... may cost a bit but for a rally....youd have some mass kudos

how much?

hey all im mat form the north shore of auckland. i own a 1991 e30 3.25i 4 dorr in red. (sorry dont have any pics yet im at work..will get somew up later) its got the normal mags lowered exhaust and things. now, im looking at getting a new gearbox as its pretty stuffed and after that possibly a new body kit, new set of mags and maybe somewhere down the line a manual conversion and a new motor as mines getting to its last legs. ive owned it for about 2 years now but its been off the road for a good year as of the gearbox and no time to work it out just now. so yeah id just like to say a big hello, any questions just ask and i look foward to meeting everybody in the future!

call novus..they can inject a special resin to fill it in good as new. its pretty cheap aswell

na it doesnt have one of those but its a 3.25i anyway...but ill double check just incase

how do i know if it has sport mode? im pretty sure it doesnt but i just wanna make sure coz as you say...i dont want it to not work

if i was to convert it id do it myself i would think with the help of a few mechanic mates. is there any dangers with going second hand as is as opposed to reconditioned?
