    BBS RS Wheels

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has bought any BBS wheels recently - either locally or in from overseas? I'm interested in a set of BBS RS 17" 8.5 - 9.0 for my 635 and am keen to know anyone's experiences (good or bad). Thanks
  2. What a joke. Someone drives around breaking the law and they think it is the cop who is the wanker hehe.
  3. This has got to be one of the most beautiful BMWs I have ever seen. Another gorgeous South Is car - I think we need more of these classics up here! http://www.flickr.com/photos/warwickrobinson/379887054/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/warwickrobinson/381394621/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/warwickrobinson/381397869/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/warwickrobinson/377250595/ Just incredible. I want one!
  4. Out of interest, what sort of hp gain is possible by removing the cat? (1995 M3) Cheers
  5. There is also Trackday Promotions that run days at Manfeild and Taupo and they're always well supported. I'm heading along to their next one at Taupo on 27th April. www.trackdays.co.nz
  6. Wasn't suggesting to use it as a daily runner, just when the need arises. But, I do know of someone who does use his E30 320i race car as pretty much a daily driver without any worries
  7. E30 race car sounds like a great idea, from your previous posts its obvious you enjoy so much track time and being warranted & registered you can use it to get around too if the need arises.
  8. PS further to that, I understood that the original Hulme / Bathurst 1992 M3 was owned by Kevin Underwood in the UK so just curious to know if it is back in this part of the world. Cheers
  9. It looks like the ex Hulme / Morris car to me too but my question was more along the lines of asking if anyone knows who owns it now & is it raced in Open Class? Does anyone else know? Quite a piece of history if it is the genuine car.
  10. Who owns that stunning B&H E30? Does it race in the BMW Series open class?
  11. True the Nissan engine has some go. But it would be ineligible for the BMW Series, ineligible for classic racing. What's left - sport saloons and an endurance race or two? Personally I would rather pay $100k for a genuine one.
  12. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/S...n-188568088.htm I remember reading an article on this car. The guy wanted an E36 Supertourer but decided to build this instead. A lot of kit for $50k. Bet it would have cost him a lot more than that to build it. Shame it has a Nissan motor.
  13. Personally speaking, I love the Phoenix Gold colour on the M3's. Saw one in Wellington a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked absolutely stunning. P.S. - E46 for me :-)
  14. What would the M tech kit be worth?

    Speedshow 2008

Jim Boult's car is the second JPS Group C car (which was built from a Group A bodyshell), then converted back to Group A in early 1985. It was then driven by Neville Creighton for Winton, then on-sold to Jim Keogh. The JPS Group A 635 that Jim Richards drove in the ATCC in 1985 was until recently owned by David Towe in Australia, now owned by Adrian Brady.
