  1. Have spoken to someone who owns a WOF testing station and he says that they have to be of a size & just have to be reflective. When ordering do I need to order two or is it classed as a "pair" when ordering?
  2. Yep, I remember them being about $250-$300 - Not quite sure how they justify a increase like that... Thanks for that Nick, so I take it you just submit the plate # you currently have and then order one of those? Works out a country mile cheaper!
  3. I had a 1999 Porsche convertible a while back, had a NZ plate and just yesterday seen an E60 like mine with one on it. They look bloody good imo, so was wondering if people sold just normal ie BY6518 (example) as a kiwi plate and how much they were perhaps 2nd hand if they were available? Really just not prepared to spend $699! They used to be bloody cheap a few years back...
  4. That's a very nice attractive unit that mate. The Holdens/Fords have nothing over the BMW's build quality and performance for the same years especially. Chalk & cheese, been there & done them all lol! German V8 is the way to go, cause they know how to build em
  5. I've got the coupe version of this car - CLK55 AMG 5.5V8 & 255kw with 510nm of torque. Mine has had some mucking with the computer which has brung it up to 270kw - an absolute brute force engine that always puts a smile on your face!
  6. Seems you know your cars especially your Merc's Jeremy & thats a very good thing
  7. Very nice, always wanted one and will someday get one. Sportpac 4.4 Jap import yes? Friend of mine has a 03 X5 Sportpac 4.6is in black with the factory 20's & kiwi new, tv, the whole drama. Excellent unit infact!
  8. Yeah, the guy I've purchased it off spend 3k on the i-drive to make it a little more kiwi friendly. A load more technology to get used to especially over the CLK which has one button, which is "HANG ON"
  9. Because it works out that I got it for a very very good price. Have seen E60 520i's much more expensive than what I actually paid for it. There's also bugger all early E60's with 30,000km Yup, tis a Japanese Import, not so much a fan of them personally, but all in all it really comes down to what your prepared to spend
  10. Yeah I will do that, I have a Canon SLR camera which takes very nice shots...
  11. 2003 525i Black with black leather, i-drive, 30,000km, 10 airbags e.t.c.. e.t.c.. At a guess, does anyone know what this vehicle would be worth?
  12. Nah, meeting the guy half way in Picton, driving it home from there, so down the east coast road
  13. Cheers Driving from Dunedin to Picton for collection, meeting the gentleman half way from Auckland. Will post pictures probably in a week's time Will speak to those guys via PM?
  14. Have just secured a deal with a 2003 BMW 525i in black with black leather. Have a few questions if anyone was keen to help an E60 noob. I currently have a Mercedes CLK-55 AMG V8 255kw and am upgrading to the E60 (not power wise lol) Because my new unit is a Japanese import and I'm sure this question has been answered before.. but is it possible to have the car use the Sat navigation here in New Zealand? Is the DVD player have to be rezoned so you can view DVD and the TV apparantley won't work due to it being NTSC is it? Any help with the questions would be much appreciated. Regards...
