I see where you're coming from Andy, and IMO its more the colour. Not the age. The Fire engine red is a bit bright as is for the rust, it needs less rust or more contrast. Pics below to support my reasoning. Heres a E46 with a rust bonnet and I think it wins: And then here's Jasons old E36 with the same bonnet, and it works REALLY well. Red car with less rust.

Is it a waste without the powersteering pulley as well? Re: on my car.
-
Call me a noob, but what does it do and will it fit my car?
-
Coilovers, it's probably time to do the shocks anyway. $900 I paid for Vmax.

Me Peter? I feel so privileged! Ha. I'm on unlimited txting with Telecom to any other provider, $12/ month. And some plan that costs something that has a certain amount of minutes and then I pay for data too - Think its like $12 for 50Mb or something. If I didn't work for the company, I'd worry about what plan I'm on. $12 for 200 minutes is pretty sweet admittedly.

I'm thinking the rust thing will work awesome with either a) really bright rims, or really shiny dished rims. But I'll explore that soon enough.

Thanks for the feedback guys, It never was going to be permanent. Just borrowed off Jason for the Weekend, but I still want to buy and rust my own bonnet and some front quarter panels for my dressing up pleasure. I think it does the exact job it was intended to do.
-
It's not permanent, and it's nothing close to what I'm going for. Still totally going to source a coupe bonnet and rust my own too. And a front quarter panel too. Yup, they are shoelaces. Cheers Sven for the idea, (he's my driver).

It's not for permanent, just on loan from Mr Gibbens. Here's how I got the plate like that:

In a container? On a truck? On a train?

One was epic at the last concert. Not many memories of it as I was well gone, but this time around I shall remember!

I'm no expert at all, wasn't it the subframe mounting points?
-
Ha! And that's coming from Kerry! Now that's a compliment. It is coming along nicely.

The rear subframe is a known problem in the 46's. It's all over the internet, and lowering them more than the average Joe Bloggs does much speeds up their destruction.
