  1. Whoa that guy sounds crazy, proberbly my aunty in her ti haha. The last person I got road rage at was some guy who wanted to get into my lane but didnt want to go behind me where there were no cars for miles, I didnt speed up nor slow as I was already half infront of him and he got real mad and shook his fist out the window at me I may have pulled the fingers which resulted in him spitting on my car when he sped past, bloody 45 year old ford driving hoolagin!
  2. Yep, I believe they did it to help move thier old stock, they still do things like this now, only it is qute rare for them to fully kit a povo spec car, they usually just add some bigger aftermarket wheels insted like this one which I used to take to the airport a lot looks so much better with cooler wheels.
  3. Geez, Will people ever get over this song!? Jeremy - Here is a explanation from some website, Its not 70's nor amazonian haha "Deep Hard N Funky - New Zealand's biggest party night celebrates a decade of dance! This landmark occasion will be taking place at the mighty Vector Arena. We will bringing back together a huge international and local line up of acts that have molded the DHf brand into what it is today. Expect the biggest dance floor tracks of today and some old favourites that made DHF the biggest, longest running and most successful dance brand in NZ's history." Is anyone else comming to this?
  4. Side skirts between FL and PreFL are both interchangeable as the lower sills are the same the only difference in wheel arches the height, not width. So they should fit PreFL no problem, but somoene correct me if I'm wrong
  5. Jeremy you are an avid Trade Me fan arnt you!? I can deffinatly see where you are comming from I think $1 reserves are excellent. But I think the genral public are too scared to use $1 buy now's on investment items like a car or house. This is done for the same reason as you said that they proberbly know what they are asking is a bit more than its actual worth. However admittedly I would be part of that percentage of people in a way, Im sure everyone would like to say they price things fairly, but come on, people just dont want to loose too much money on thier investments. I havent put my car on Trade Me yet, not until exams are over. I think I have priced it resonably fairly, sure the asking price is ideally what I would want to get for it but I'd be willing to drop a few or several hundred with some negotiation and certainly not making any money on it if anything Ive lost a grand or two. But as you said with 2,000,000 members the items deffinatly get enough exposure to those on the market for them. So I guess because of that most people would list a car or something with the idea that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Which is why I guess there are less $1 reserves as you'll find that among 2M people someone would be willing to pay the asking price (unless its dangerously too unrealistic) Well thats my thoughts on the matter anyway I deffinatly didnt think there would be bidding wars over a 200k+ car though!! esspecially since the car market is pretty dead at the moment for sellers.
  6. Cheers for the comments guys, lets hope someone can love her as much as me. Also I edited above so it has most of the important work carried out on it noted and when it was done according the the reciepts I have. Cheers
  7. I'd say $200 for side skirts and $250 for rear kit. Well thats what I would be prepared to pay if I was after a body kit esspecially a genuine AC Schnitzer one!
  8. James, if you put a carbon fibre bonnet on your car I wont talk to you at work, however perhaps if you painted it to match the car then maybe
  9. Is it for Prefacelift or Facelift?
  10. No worries mate, learn something new everyday huh? Keep in mind I am open to resonable offers

  13. There isnt a hell of a lot of options with places to get your car serviced right in the CBD something on Beach Road is the only place I can think or or perhaps something in Ponsonby. havent heard anything about Marcus Motors. Only one way to find out and its proberbly the closest place you will find. Think mum has had her car serviced there I will find out.
  14. Ahh good so I'm not the only one then. Keep in mind when cleaning those wheels not to use any mag acid of they will go cloudy
  15. Your proberbly right they are the same as facotry 328 wheels mind you, I stand corrected
  16. Nice looking ride mate, I'm digging those E36 wheels on it also. Welcome aboard aswell.
  17. Sorry, should have been clearer, the 'a' in 325ia means auto. So its auto
  18. Yea it is aye, she mentioned that she had a friend with a E36 (yes I have taught her all the 'E' codes) with the plate BIMM3R so the wheels in my head turned and realised who she was talking about haha. She was proberbly drunk when she told you was a just a normal E36 coupe not a M3, thankfully Not too bad, had a bit of a sore shoulder/arm later in the day but not bad at all. Wasnt that bad of a crash, just luckily not my fault! would hate to have to pay for a car that wasnt mine and another car..
  19. Hmm my friday the 13th consisted of test driving a E36 and having someone plow into the side of me, that was a hard phone call to make to make to the owner! Oh an Alex I hear you are mates with my little sis Amber down in Q'town.. small world huh

She was first used by BMW as part of its fleet and used as a demo vehicle at BMW dealership 02484 in Pretoria, South Africa. Benjamin Gueme sold it new to a guy named Johand who was an executive a Gallo Records on 3rd August 1989. She was imported into New Zealand in 1997 and went through a few different numberplate changes as she changed owners, as personalised plates seemed to be at its height around this time. Most of the owners she has had have been dealerships. Since she has been in NZ she has a had a wide variety owners to the likes of a competing boxer, Shortland St ‘celebrities’ if that kind of thing excites you, it was owned by my next door neighbour when I was 16 and the last owner and myself being BMW enthusiasts. During the last 18 months I have owned the car, I have had pretty much trouble free motoring with only minor problems like a flat battery. An employee of JC BMW owns her so most of the work done on it has been carried out there. She gets professionally groomed possibly too regularly and is always clean. The leather gets treated every couple of months to try keep it nice. Some parts let her down a bit and show her age. Those things would be her cracked dash which anyone who knows E30’s would know how common that is. Some minor pin dents (only about 3 or so) and a bend in the lower rear valance, which I got straightened out but is not perfect but does not bother me. Was quoted another $200 to have it perfectly straight again. I have been very fussy while I have owned the car and anyone who knows me can defiantly vouch for that! The car gets a few compliments now and then on the street and the odd head turning from people who can appreciate a well looked after E30. Looking for around $3500. Although this figure is negotiable. I am not really in too much of a hurry to sell as I am waiting to see what is happening to another car I am looking at. Am only selling, as her younger E36 sister is looking rather appealing. Feel free to ask and questions below of via PM Cheers Ryan
