Time to say yes to rehab I think

I do architecture at uni and even did a class today about sustainable architecture and living, I can understand its importance but I dont feel guilty about getting behind the wheel and driving, I'll walk to uni if its sunny but just too time consuming. But I do belive people should care about it but they dont , they could at least make some good looking hybrids.

As I already said when you showed me after you did them , they looks mint, esspecially the last one. Although you really should watermark stamp the ones you put on the net so no one steals them and claim it as thier on or use it etc

If its a OBC related noise it wont be comming from the OBC itself it will be comming from a small speaker mounted to the plastic panel above the foot pedals, have a look at it and you will see it, a kind od rounded rectangle with holes in it, you can just pull it out and unplug it if it really bothers you. So it happens when you stopped so its not the speed warning is it which tells you when you pass a certain speed?

Id like to find out mine, I might ask next time Im at work, I know with all the new BMW's these sheets come in the glove box and i always just throw them away... my bad

Yea its just that one front one that doesnt work the rest are all fine, I was begging to think I had 3 bad bulbs but I took a few from other indicators that deffinatly work and still no luck. Guess I'll have to take a trip to the auto sparky or just get someone at work to look at it

My drivers side indicator blinker has stopped working, I have tried 3 different bulbs and still no go. Im not the best with electronic things so does anyone have any idea how to fix it or why it wont be working? Or should I just take it to a auto sparky and just let them deal with it?

Yeah that last picture was photoshopped only the lowering though the rest is untouched, was getting a idea of how it would look lowered but that quite possibly is a bit too low for me, but it still looks cool haha Needs a few things done beofore the lowering tho Alex, I need to reattach my lip, and full service, put my dizzy rotor and cap in and need to source a new Si battery board with batteries that work and a new bulb for the OBC

Seems a lot of negativity seems to be going on here amongst members, so I thought I'd lighten the note by sharing my story of yesterday. Wake up at 5am, cant get back to sleep so decide to just get up and get ready for work, raining cats and dogs outside. I get in the car and head to Mc D's for some drive through and then to a petrol station to top up my phone. So Im heading down Hamilton rd in Herne Bay to get on to the harbour bridge the driving along and the rain is bucketing down I hear a bit of a banging noise just quickly, but keep driving. Get to work, told my other mate I work with isnt comming becasue his leg got run over the day before, so another guy is comming in, and he isnt the best to work with but meh. Crappy start to the day, then I walk past my car and notice my front lip is gone and then I realise that was the banging noise it falling off and me running it over at 100km/h I txt Alex (quicksilver) laughing telling him that my lip fell off etc. Next minute I get a txt saying he's walked up the street in Herne bay looking for my lip in the pouring rain and then drives over the bridge to find it, stops and gets out of his car to save my front lip in the wind and rain. Absolutely made my day, what a mate! Good to know there are members who go above and beyond to help another out!! Cheers Alex! So just thought I'd share

So its almost being a year since I got this car... I have changed almost nothing, just a nice Blaupunkt head unit with Ipod controls. A set of europlates and thats about it, but a good lowering is still on the cards just havent really got around to doing it yet. I think a half body respray is more important on my list at the moment, hopefully a full respray if funds allow for that. I guess working at BMW allows you to ask questions a lot to the parts guys and a fairly decent discount on servicing and parts also helps, so over the past year I have being cleaning up and fixing bits and pieces like completely my tool kit and getting a tow hook to fit the space for it in the boot and an original warning triangle and first aid kit. So pretty much all those unimportant things that seem to always go missing in E30's that are almost 20 years old. It still gets a full groom once a week and leather treated monthly if I have time to keep it looking nice. Thought it was time for a little bit of a update, but yeah, here are some recent pictures I found..

I belive the same thing, BMW's look better with era specific modifications or OEM add on bits of a higher or better spec version. Hence why mine is pretty much stock bar the europlate which isnt really era specific but they looks damn good

That looks really nice man, Its awesome to see people who take such care and attention to detail on their cars, it really shows. The FL grills make such a difference. I'll look forward to seeing more progress.

James have you gone to Wairau and talked to any of the boys at MPS? Because they fixed the wheels on the white E60 you kerbed

Ahh yeah she has had that thing for ages, I drove it about 3 months ago when it was getting something fixed, you'd be supprised, or not, by how many of the 'whos who' have BMW, and to be honest, never very nice BMWs
