the waste gate helps by releaseing presure when the throttle is snap shut so the pressure does not bluid up and spin the turbo backwards. And when it is opened the turbo does not have to re spool

its a turbo external waste gate (i think) my brother has one

or do u want fully white ones? cos if you do you might wanna try someware offshore because i dont know if you can get them in NZ but as for indicators you can get them everywhere (clear/white ones) the cheapest place would proberbly be Europart i think it costs $80 plus trading in ur old orange ones
