  1. hey guys, have sent my e36 off for a warrant last week to have it fail on the account that the back passenger windows and windscreen tints appear to be a fair bit darker than the legal limit of 35% obviously the owner that had previously owned the car had taken the liberty to darken the tints considerably past the legal limit but was able to source most likely a dodgy wof place to certify him for the warrant before the sale. now to pass my warrant i am requiring the certificate that should have been supplied to him at the time of the tints being done. i've contacted the previous owner who basically told me he knew the tints were darker than the legal limit however it was able to be wof'd if you take it to someone who would look past the fact the tints weren't legal so any recommendations as to who to see in welly to re do the tints on the car properly and legally? i really don't want it to affect my insurance policy if anything goes terribly wrong in the future. and approx prices involved? thanx p.s: the sticker on the back of the windscreen bears the tint company name of "Outwest Tints", not quite sure why one of these tint certificates weren't supplied...
  2. i'm rocking one of these tings in my ride. its proved to be a great investment seeing as i no longer have to look at my ipod touch while driving. nice and easy visual display for selecting stuff from your ipod and with my touch it seems really fast to access music - no lag or nuffin
  3. looks well tidy mate! hot 2 death

  6. haha yeah woops, i always go blank of mind when trying to think of some super serious artistic name to call my mix and end up going with something stupid and juvenile
  7. Hey Fellas, Here's a mix of a few tunes i've been feeling for a while but haven't got round to putting them in to a solid mix till now. its all house/electro-ish stuff. 8. so fibreglass bumpers etc are a no go. any thoughts on polypropylene bits? do they have many cons as opposed to getting abs bumpers?
  9. recent addition to the whip has been one of those SWEET Alpine IDA-X001 headunits with full ipod control so have been busting out some serious ipod playlists. listening to my own dj mixes has worn a bit thin so i've gone all in all the sleazy hip hop and rnb tunes doing the rounds currently. definitely impressing the ladiez in the all important 16-22yo age range. i'm sure once the thrill of borderline illegal girls has worn down i'll invest in some classic rock and souless power ballads to crack in to the cougar market
  10. ? nice one boys, good to see 'crash' finally see the light of day
  11. Sweet ride man! hurrah for more welly peeps
  12. ok a few weeks ago I couldn't sleep so started browsing Trademe at 3am scouting round for stuff to buy for my e36 and happened upon some angel eyes. being a bit trigger happy with my buy now finger I purchased and paid for a pair of the aforementioned angel eyes setup from eurolights, however over the weekend I realised they were not exactly what I was looking for and decided to try and cancel my order with eurolights and sent an email, 1 week later there was absolutely contact made from eurolights to cancel my order or even confirm that they had received my payment. So I arrive in to work today and find that in that week long lack of communication eurolights had infact processed my payment and ordered the angel eyes from their Australian warehouse and sitting on my desk is the angel eyes box. seeing as they have managed over a week with no communication I don't hold much faith that they will answer any of my emails I've sent thus far and I probably won't get a refund of my money so I've decided to cut my losses and sell the angel eyes instead of trying to send them back to Australia. so there you have it, due to my shabby trademe antics someone now has the chance to purchase the below setup for the initial buy now price of $470 + whatever the cost of shipping is to wherever you are based. if you are located within wellington however I don't mind delivering them to you or you can pick up here's the copy and paste blurb from the trademe auction: BRAND-NEW BMW E36 3-SERIES BLACK PROJECTOR ANGEL-EYE HEAD-LIGHT ASSEMBLIES + MATCHING BLACK INDICATORS FOR 4DR SEDAN MODELS Finally, they are here, black projector angel-eye head-light assemblies for your E36 3-Series sedan. 13. thanks mate! yeah i figure i've spent shitloads of cash on stupider things in my life so i might as well go all in and pay for the quality when it comes to something like lights plus yeah i don't think i could sleep at night knowing some of you bimmersporters might see my 320 out and about and snigger at the poor mans angel eyes/hid setup if i rocked them. oh the humanity!

  16. Hey everyone, Dennis here. well i've been meaning to post something in the introductions forum since i bought my 97 320 months ago but have always managed to chicken out when i've had a look at some of the other sweet rides you lot are rocking. this car is my first vehicle ever owned so it's probably decidely boring compared to some of the other vehicles on this site but hey! i'm just pretty stoked to be driving something that doesn't chronically overheat and look like something a rapist would cruise the streets looking for their next victim in like my mates legacy did looking forward to meeting some of you wellington cats at some point soon i hope, mostly to badger you guys for advice. i know poor ole hybrid is going to be so happy without me hassling him on msn constantly about this and that. shortly i will have in possesion some angel eyes from umnitza and will be looking for advice as to who to see to get them installed on my ride as i'm spectacularly technically challenged and don't want to break the bloody things installing it, am hoping one of you wellington peeps could point me in the right direction as to who to see to insure they get installed correctly anyways enough waffle, here's my whip....
  17. yay for Ray! required a power steering pump for me '97 320 and he had me sorted out in a jiffy. muchos gracias mate
