Hey guys, the rats got some of the wires in my car- seems to have shorted out something in the ecu and cooked it. Anyone got an affordably priced ecu for an m20b25 they’d like to sell? Mine is the grey sticker one- but I hear the green one plugs in too- is just lacking on some of the diag stuff. So either will do. Cheers! Matt

So my car is entered in an event which requires it to be “dressed up/down” somewhat. No guidance if he theme- go your own way thing. Given me and the guy who ate entering are from Hamilton we figured we could go “bogan motoren werke” since the car has faded/peeled red paint- it’s lowered, has 17” wheels on the front and 15” on the back- the stereo, bad tints, very loud exhaust. What more can we do to it to make it more bogan? Or any other ideas about a better theme? cheers chaps!

I have a set of 19" msport copies which is like to swap for 17" Bmw wheels- with at least wofable tyres. these are for an e34- so need to have appropriate offset- however I'm easy on the hubcentric size (i.e. I'll take e39 hubcentric size.) these are 19x8.5. Et20. tyres tears might pass wof, fronts won't. i ask for wofable tyres on the 17s as I perceive the 19s are worth more. theyre okay condition, however two have some scrapes. reason: I'm just not thug enough to drive this car with these wheels.

Wheels - Pair - WOFable Tyres - 5x120 for E34 Title says it all, now's not a fab time for me to be buying a pair of 19" tyres, so need a pair of wheels with tyres which will pass muster. I guess, I want E34 15 or 16" wheels, but any 5x120 will be fine I'm sure. (its for the rear, so even 3 series offset will fit.) Needs to be pickup from the bay of plenty somewhere. I'm in papamoa, so the closer the better.

Hi Guys, So I've since moved city, had another kid and my wife and I don't really need two cars any longer. Car still goes fine, has been driven daily for the last few months. Should mention that the gearbox is noisy but seems fine, apparently this is normal (?) Anyway, now with no WOF and the reg on hold I'll take $1250 ono for it. Should be noted that I have started stripping some of that revolting black paint from it. If you like it though its like, $5 a can from supercheap to re black it, only done the two front guards. I'll throw in a 885 head if the price is right, had a weld and needs a skim. Car is now in Tauranga. Cheers guys.

Brought this 1986 BMW 525e Manual recently to be a daily driver, however my work has given me a work car so this guy is no longer required. Runs fine, drives well, really cheap on gas. Its a bit rough but perfectly servicable. Excellent project or cheap runabout for someone. m20b27 perfect for a stroker project. Getrag 260 5 speed. seems fine. The only downfall is that it has been pained flat black, badly... however this would probably come off with some paint stripper and some patience. Current WOF and REG. Car is in Papamoa at the moment, but could deliver to Auckland at the right price. $2000 ono.

Pretty sure the head isn't cracked though, needs a weld to build up part of the combustion chamber wall where it has thinned out due to water being used rather than coolant I guess? $1000, any takers?

Manual BMW 1990 525i e34 for sale! Brought this to fix up as my daily, but its been a month since I got it, got the head off it, and i'm just not going to get it done. Its a fairly high spec model - A/C, trip computer, fully electric. But its cloth interior and the paint are all pretty shabby. Wof expires february next year. reg on hold. When I brought it the cooling system was pressurising. I've removed the head, I think it just needs a skim or a bit of a weld up, as you can see where it blew into the cooling gallery. Included with the sale is a full head gasket set. including new head bolts. waterpump has been done recently. Payment must be by the weekend, but I dont mind it sitting here for a week or two. $1250ono

Looks like I'm going to have to sell this thing to fund another car before Christmas. $2500 if anyone's interested. Beige leather, Oxford Green, 2l I6 engine. Just replaced all the front suspension linkages. Current WOF REG etc. Front drivers guard is dinged in the corner. EOI I guess? I'll stick this on the for sale bit soon. Cheers
