Also keep in mind insurance costs. I have a 2004 318i station wagon that I bought 4 years ago when I was 18 which cost me around 16k and my insurance is through the roof, and only now am I downgrading to an e30..

Im looking at lowering my e30 318is. I dont want it to be too low that it fails warrants, but low enough for it to look nice (imo) and not to ruin the car too much as its kinda rare and dont want it to look dodgy.. Can someone guide me into what springs/setup they have in their e30? Would be much appreciated. cheers

Lol well that seems a bit silly really, especially when you have 3 of exactly the same car/over 200 cars. If money is such a worry he should get rid of a few lolEdit: possibly he couldn't import them into Australia? I know we couldnt import a mustang from america to aussie but you could to NZ. Yeah storing them at my dads work for a few months. Crazy. 5mill worth of cars stored in another country. If only money wasnt a worry! One of the mclarens has literally no tread left.....

hyper have them pretty cheap for real good adjusters. Check them out.

I originally bought a pair of lowering springs for it and installed them but i didnt like it so conpressed the ones tha came out. Best option is to look for standard springs and get them done so if its too low then u can put the originals back in. I installed the springs myself as a place like hyper charge 100$

If your only going to pay that the only thing you can do is get them compressed. I paid 170 to get mine done.

Hmm weird. My father told me all their cars are designed to run on 91 fuel. .I've used it for 2 years in this car and its.good on fuel dont even notice the difference when I have used 95

Has anyone actually come across an engine damaged by using different fuel? I'm supposed to use 98 in mine but I stick with 91. Pretty much the same, just gets burnt at higher temperatures when its made.

New Zealand used to add lead into the fuel which ruined everything. Obviously they don't use it anymore hence unleaded but I've heard from people its still rubbish fuel compared to other countries but could be wrong. People getting mad in 5. . . .
