not feasibly,
however if one wanted to do so, presumably because they are after dual mounts, i saw last week there is a crowd in the US in the prototype stages of producing rear covers for the E30 diffs, presumably with the increase in V8 and S54 swaps being done to E30s people are ripping their floors and subframes out. No reason this couldn't be made compatible with the compact floor
Sounds similar to something Garagistic offers:

Just been fiddling around and making slow progress.
Sump off, cleaned the sump then back on again.
Cleaned off the deck with a razor blade, degreased the block and pistons etc.
Installed a new water pump.
Also tidied up and de-scaled the thermostat housing and installed a new thermostat.

Cool project. You got me super excited with the colour Atlantis Blue... But this must be an old Atlantis Blue? BMW has since changed it to a far more vibrant blue.
Pictured..
Yeah, very different colours, the old and the new. I like them both!
More parts arrived from Gavin. Thanks!
Cam has been reconditioned. Going back into the head and should have the head back sometime next week.

Dropped the head out to Dougs Engineering in Pukekohe for a rebuild. Cam going to Franklin Cams to get built up and reground.
These also arrived. Progress!

Happy with where the M20 is at, finally ready to shut the bonnet and leave it alone- thought to myself, "The plugs will be filthy from when it was having problems running" so started the final task of giving the plugs a birthday... pulled on number 4 lead slightly wrong and the friggin wire comes right out of the boot
Sigh... who has a spare set of M20 leads?
I have a set. Pm me if you're interested.

Very cool... love the M30 engines - will you be popping an LSD into the open diff? Atlantis-blau has to be my favourite E30 colour... don't see many around these days!
Thanks.
Yeah - pretty legendary engines. Eventually, yep. Will get it the swap all ironed out first though.
One of my favorite e30 colours too.

No replacement for displacement!
Factory hone marks on old engines gives me warm fuzzies - how many km had the donor done?
~220k.

Engine mounts are already on their way. Will be using Garagistic's offering.

Thought I had better start a project thread for the M30 swap I'm undertaking on my E30.
Used to be an m20b20. Then I put in a m20b25. Now moar CCs.
Picked up a nice factory manual 535i.
Picked up the rear end from the black 325i vert Brent is wrecking (medium case diff). Wire wheeled the rear subframe and repainted.Engine out of the 535i. Rest of the e34 i'm parting out so if you want anything let me know.
Drove this around for a while. Was cool.
Head is now off. There is some cam wear, so the plan is to get the cam reconditioned and the head rebuilt & skimmed by 1mm to make 10:1 compression. Bore looks good to me - will leave the bottom end intact.
Got a bunch of refresh parts already, and am waiting on more.
Will likely take me a few months to complete - just taking things slowly and doing things properly.
Cheersies.- 3

750i-il brakes are the same. The front disks and calipers are larger than the 740i by quite a bit so theoretically more stopping power. It's been argued on other forums that it'll make no difference and at the end of the day ABS and tires will have the final say but if that was the case why would BMW have bothered making them bigger. Beyond all that I do drive the 740i hard at times and bigger disks and calipers will mean less heat and less brake fade under hard consistent braking,.
Sounds like a good call. I'd always go bigger, given the choice. Plus big brakes look cool.

Will you be using the 328i's driveshaft in the conversion? Sorry not familiar whether they're mix and match or not.
-
Awesome. Looking great. What's the difference in the brakes between the 740/750il? Does the 750i share the brakes with the il, or the other swb cars?

Has it got a first aid box under passenger seat?
Will have a look when I get home. I would be surprised, honestly.

I re-used the original e30 ones. No issues, fit nicely.
