Whenuapai Aviation Sports Club

Fortunately over Auckland it's 100% legal and very easy! Uncontrolled airspace below 2500' over the city.

NZ military with all due respect would be late to the party..
All last century. And actually believe it or not the NZ military is at the cutting edge in many ways.
Nowadays new technology is often too expensive and too much of an unknown, when they can pay a soldier peanuts to do the same job, but with the adaptability to be trained for a different one as necessary.
My job in particular could be greatly assisted by AI, but definitely not replaced. It is the Human factor that makes us as good as we are.

Oh how I wish that were true. The military are last adopters not first, it's very difficult to replace human thought and adaptability on the battle front.
It sure as hell would make my job easier if the military had more automation technology!

At least a travel agent provides a unique benefit, in that they have access to deals that the public simply do not, just like mortgage brokers, or insurance brokers.
Tax refund services do not. You are better off comparing them to the shopping trucks that also prey on the vulnerable and uninformed.
-
1 hour ago, Olaf said:No; it's a service. You have options, and can make a choice. If the service was uncalled for, market economics would spell its demise.
It's a service that exists only to prey on the uninformed. Those who don't know that IRD offers the exact same service for free online.
Their advertising makes it out like they have a point of difference to the free online service, but they don't.

Oh has it gone up?

Is GST new or something?

Exactly what he said. Attacking the unsustainable practices...

Speedway is such a minority sport and it has bullied other park users out and time has caught up withem - last dinosaur standing time go was a decade ago.
We get it, you don't like speedway. Plenty of people do, and I wouldn't say it's that minor at all. It has a huge following. But of course you'll have an explanation why that following is actually small or non existant.
I don't like it so people shouldn't do it. Cool story bro.

Funnily enough the Palmerston North speedway is right in the middle of town, and there are no dramas because the council fully supports it.
Rather than complain, the neighbours embrace it as part of the character of the area. It's been there far longer than most residents.
From my experience over the last 3 months in Auckland there seems to be a large proportion of the population here who feel entitled, and want everything for nothing, and they are the ones making it an issue.

May be down that way in a week and a half. Not sure yet though, and I'll be heading to Sanson (45mins north of Levin)

It's done based off a safety rating derived from crash testing and real world results. Maybe the ti is just a safer body shape? ?

Last week I sold the 316i project car, meaning after selling my compact in December I am officially BMWless.
For the first time in 4 years. It won't last though, time to concentrate on finding the perfect start for an E30 project. Going to do it right, so it can be the last E30 I own ?

A least the way a HFC car uses the hydrogen for electrical power can be extremely efficient, up to 80 percent of the fuel converted to electrical energy some studies have shown. It would still be a viable product to produce, bottle and sell given it's purposefulness.
Meanwhile the thermal efficiency of petrol cars is pretty poor, 20-30 percent usually. So it could be argue petrol cars are self defeating in that aspect of how much of the fuel they waste as heat. Yet, here we are well over 100 years later, still using them despite the lack of efficiency.
I wonder how efficient the production of lithium ion or iron batteries is when it comes down to the way they are produced, I guess it's not so applicable as they can't be used as a fuel, and only work when, coal power plants charge them.
Except fossil fuels even at that poor efficiency still provide far more energy than it takes to produce them.
Basically a hydrogen fuel cell is a poor performing, albeit cheap to manufacture, battery.

It is also produced by electrolosis of water, but the downside is it requires more energy to produce than the hydrogen holds.

Eventually, wait for gas stations to sell it like LPG.
Done!
Have you looked into energy required to produce hydrogen gas? It's not very economical currently. Not even remotely.

Election talk. Everyone suddenly has an opinion and I'm f**king sick of hearing them.
Can't wait for it to just be over with. Neither party will truly ruin us. The world will not end on the 24th.

Folowed closely by sleep and a shower. The things we do to make a crust ?

Definitely not everything. SCA being the perfect example, every store is corporate owned. I have a feeling Bunnings is too
